POPSThis Is What Hell Is Like Tech Support: “All right. Now, are you ready to click ‘OK’?” Customer: “Yes.” Tech Support: “Great. Now click ‘OK’.” (Pause.) Customer: “I clicked ‘Cancel’.” (And people wonder why my mouse pad has a target on it labeled “BANG HEAD HERE.”)

POPS Invest Manager lawsuit seeks to seize 5 million odd from e-bullion acc I was reading on Google news about the arrest of James Fayed from e-bullion and found this item below.. Invest manager if I remember rightly ran for quite some time in 2006 to 2007. A young mate actually signed up for it but just as they were about to spend (not using ebullion) a warning screen popped up and said ....... This program has been identified as a likely ponzi scheme or scam, if you continue there is a strong possibility you will lost your money. It is not to late to cancel your payment now. Which he did. Looks like that identification was spot on.. Now I'm not positive it is the same invest manager program as with all these they do tend to use similar names.

POPSI Can't Believe I Agree with "Big Business" So I have to say, I agree with Sprint on this one - not the consumers. While those 2-year service agreements annoy me too, they do allow me to buy cheap phones and always have the latest gadgets, which I love. If they aren't allowed to lock us into 2-year contracts, they're going to stop subsidizing phones and will raise the prices on their services, which I don't think any of us wants either. As a compromise, why not require them to offer options. If you sign a 2-year contract, they'll offer you subsidized phone and service pricing. If you don't want to be locked into a contract, you can do that, but you'll pay more for your phones and service. That way, those of us who are ok with dealing with 2 year contracts to keep our prices low can do so, while those of us that don't mind paying more to keep their options open can do so as well. To me it's a win-win.

POPSObama's View On Landstuhl: Pentagon's Policy The view from the Pentagon "As a sitting United States senator, Obama obviously has an official interest in the well being of our service members and how the wounded are being treated," Whitman said, adding:"He is welcome to visit a military medical center any time that he wants to. As you all know, we do have certain policy guidelines for political campaigns and elections and what is appropriate and what's not appropriate in those situations," Whitman said. "The Pentagon did not tell the senator that he could not visit Landstuhl." "If you are both a sitting senator and a political candidate when you are doing things like a visit to Landstuhl, you need to do it in your capacity as a sitting senator or you have to do it with the restrictions that apply," Whitman added. Those restrictions include the law that campaign events may not be conducted on a military installation.
