POPSSwitzerland → Gun Crime Rate so Low, Statistics are not even kept. Guns are deeply rooted within Swiss culture. Children there are practically born with a gun in their hands. Hardly no accidents and gun crime, no school shootings. Is then seems fair to say that making something common, leads to commonsense and (senseless) forbidding creates roads of temptation. I once saw a documentary where they gave children apricots and raisin's to eat freely, making them both equally attractive. Then they forbid the raisin's and presented them only occasionally... It was astonishing to see the changes. ALL the children were craving them and became somewhat aggressive. It created fights, pushing and lots of deceitful behavior just to lay their hands on those tempting goodies.
