Clipping the time to call took up too many characters, because the clip of a drop down field includes all of the characters that are unseen.

I happen to be one of those of dangerous drivers that occasionally texts while in traffic or at a stop light. I can't wait to have a way to speak into my phone to send texts and search the web.
