Do not mix up church and religion. Out from a christian's view, an atheist is a unconscious blind-one. So was I when I was younger. An atheist fells himself well in a world of fixed clear rules. But when reality shifts they fall into depression, agression and chaos, because they can't see the guiding light which shows you the direction to swimm to to get out of trouble. But better an atheist than a satanic. Satanists are aware, but deny the truth, in order to the will of their unholy father: to lie and kill and torture, even if they're only after having enjoyd the easy part of the contract. The farer they get in, the harder they get out. But the joy would be thousand times superior within God's angels and elders, to see a sinner saved than to see a holy man walking the right path.
