Can anyone imagine the condescension and loathing if some Arabic, hispanic or black person showed up with 18 children in America. Even worse if they invoked Islam. Not to be outdone, another white father - the Jeffers pedophile in Arizona probably has hundreds of little fundamentalist offspring running around.

POPSMuslim Bullying How absurd for any religious group to expect for persons of differing faiths or no faith at all to adhere to their quaint religious practices. It reminds me of the resistance to teach evolution in public schools or the attempts to force religion into the public arena. Both spheres have a similar lack of credibility and rationale. Kudos to Wikipedia for not kowtowing to religious fanatics.

POPS"Clash of civilizations" - a misnomer Christians perpetrated the crusades, the inquisition, the slave trade and imperial adventures too numerous to mention. It may be comforting to pat ourselves on the back and consign those behaviors to past centuries. We are living in the 21st century after all. Who would use the name of the Christian God to justify mass killing? A majority of modern day American Christians, that's who.
