POPSCode Pink Tries To Arrest & Handcuff Karl Rove At Mortgage Meeting In total, five Code Pink members were removed from the hall during Rove’s appearance. The organization says none of the five women were charged. Four questions come to mind. What does Code Pink have to do with the crisis of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? Freddie and Fannie were run by hardcore Democrats. What does Karl Rove have to do with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? Mr. Bush called for reform of the agencies until he was blue in the face. And, lastly, why were these professional agitators let back into this meeting a day after its leader had been forcibly removed? And why were no charges brought against Code Pink? Apparently, the so-called mortgage crisis isn’t so serious at all, if even the Mortgage Bankers aren’t willing to take it seriously. (Thanks to BillK for the heads up.)

POPS Inside Obama’s Acorn ....with a “1960’s-bred agenda of anti-capitalism” to match. Acorn, says Stern, grew out of “one of the New Left’s silliest and most destructive groups, the National Welfare Rights Organization.” The theory, explains Stern, was that an impossibly overburdened welfare system would force “a radical reconstruction of America’s unjust capitalist economy.” Instead of a socialist utopia, however, we got the culture of dependency and family breakdown that ate away at America’s inner cities — until welfare reform began to turn the tide. he targets and strategy have changed. Acorn prefers to fly under the national radar, organizing locally in liberal urban areas — where, local legislators and reporters are often “slow to grasp how radical Acorn’s positions really are.” In Your Face Just think of Code Pink’s well-known operations (threatening to occupy congressional offices, interrupting the testimony of General David Petraeus) and you’ll get the idea.

POPSI never thought I would see an anti-soldier veterans group comments from article. * Should have added (4.00 / 1) 'gathering of eagles' and now this offshoot 'eagles up' were formed mostly to continue the blantant Spitting on Kerry, Cleland, and Us 'Nam Vets that don't tow the bushy doctrine, most aren't conflict veterans, many aren't even veterans, though they'll wear colors, patches, etc.. Their main claims of support, if you visit their sites, is doing 'battle' with 'code pink' and crowing about it' mostly false bullshit, I've caught them on a number of times putting up crap of incidents with ''code pink' and 'pro peace' activists they're crowing about and I was witness to. And Boy do they Hate OIF and OEF soldiers that don't tow the same bushy doctrine, reason they're big supporters of VFF and the mercs!!!!!!

POPSThe Nut Does not Fall Far From the Tree I do not know about you but I certainly can see a pattern emerging here. It would appear that the Rev Wright and his radical anti-white capitalist rantings was not at all out of the ordinary for Obama after all. I may not be the smartest bird in the forest but I can surely discern the obvious. Obama attends a church that preaches against WHITE American, sits on a board with a man who is unabologetic about bombing American buildings, and now we find him associated with a bunch of nuts (acorns are nuts). We are rapidly heading into a time when the inmates are going to be running the asylum. We need to get the NUTS out of politics not vote them in.

POPSHabitat For Hamas Please support us in our efforts to legitimize Hamas, they are much more than just a terrorist organization. Habitat for Hamas will help with Hamas families housing problem, despite the group’s stated commitment to the violent destruction of the state of Israel, because you can’t always get prerequisites adopted by other people before you even grovel and beg.

POPSSupport Victory In Iraq: Sign Our Petition Please show solidarity behind General Petraeus and our heroic military. Make our voices of hope and support louder and stronger than those of the radical anti-war groups. We must illustrate that the efforts of the military in this successful surge have not gone unnoticed. We must proclaim that it would be undeniably disastrous for our national security to retreat and inhumane to leave the Iraqi people in the hands of the brutal and violent Islamic jihadists.

POPS TELL BERKELEY, CA: YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED The Berkeley, California City Council has let it be known that they think United State Marine recruiters are "uninvited and unwelcome intruders" in their city. They voted to oust Marine recruiters from their offices and granted Code Pink protesters space to impeded the work of the Marine Corps recruiters. Their anti-war beliefs have distorted their ability carry out their responsibilities as government officials.

POPSBerkeley to Decide on Revoking Marines Letter
buffalo_ken February 12th, 2008 12:31 pm I don’t care for the false dichotomy created by this line from the above article: “Protesters from all sides of the debate over the Iraq war - from the anti-war Code Pink to groups supporting the troops and the war…” This text suggests that supporting the troops and supporting the war are synonymous. Nothing could be further from the truth. I’m so tired of this idea that anyone who is against the war is not supporting the troops. If anything, being against the war is the best way to support the troops. Being against the war goes hand-n-hand with being against “the machine”. Speaking of the machine, here is an old Berkeley Quote (thanks to someone else whose name I can’t remember who posted this quote on CD a few weeks ago): “There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can’t take part; you can’t even passively take part, and you’ve got to put your bodies upon the gears and

POPSBerkeley vs. the Marines "Intellectual" airheads. Completely and totally un-American. Our Constitution grants them the right to be dim-bulbs. AND in case of a national emergency, the Marines are obligated to protect their municipality. Americans who continue to bite the hand that feeds them.

POPSSend Berkeley A Demand For Apology To U.S.Troops >>>>PLEASE SIGN LETTER OF PROTEST AGAINST ANTI-MILITARY RESOLUTIONS<<< To: The City Council, Mayor and City Manager of Berkeley, California We, the undersigned, do register our complete outrage with the City of Berkeley for the recent resolutions that criticized our Marines, as part of an effort to harass the Marine Recruiting Center and chase all vestiges of the United States military outside of the city of Berkeley, California.

POPSConyers Says He's on Edge of Starting Impeachment Let's push Conyers over the edge by flooding his office with phone calls, faxes, and Emails on Monday and Tuesday. Let him know that only impeachment hearings 1-will make it on TV, 2-will force compliance with subpoenas by eliminating "executive privilege", 3-will hold brazen criminals accountable, and 4-will convince voters that Democrats care about the Constitution. POPSCode Pink Protesters Disappointed With Berkeley City Council Council members Betty Olds and Laurie Capitelli on Monday proposed that Berkeley rescind its letter to the U.S. Marine Corps that stated that the downtown Berkeley recruiting center "is not welcome in our city," and publicly declare that Berkeley is against the war but supports the troops. The City Council will vote on Olds' and Capitelli's two proposals at its meeting next Tuesday. "I think we shouldn't be seen across the country as hating the Marines," said Olds, who voted against last week's proposals. "If you make a mistake, like we did, you should admit it and correct it and move on."

POPSAnn Coulter To Campaign For Hillary Clinton:::And Here's Why
Is a pro-abortion socialist-in-everything-but-name Hillary Clinton administration preferable to a McCain administration? Coulter: McCain's record is as bad and liberal as Hillary's. But her badness is expressed when she's seeking Democrats' votes. If McCain were in front of Democrats he'd sound like Herbert Marcuse. And don't tell me McCain is better on the war. Campaigning in front of Code Pink types, Hillary has repeatedly said she will hit terrorists hard, and hedged her bets (thereby losing votes) on whether she'd execute a quick pullout from Iraq. This probably makes her as tough as McCain, especially since he's busy sniffling into his handkerchief about the tragedy of Guantanamo. As to the domestic commie stuff Hillary peddles, I think she'll do a lot less damage than McCain, because he would co-opt Republican congressmen. They would fight Hillary. We're imperiled by both of them but I think Hilary presents fewer risks.

POPS U. S. Senator DeMint Is Mad As Hell Protesting the Marines is just a predictable by-product of the massive Bush Derangement Syndrome that exists in this God-Forsaken city. But they took it a step further and not only denounced the US Military but then wholly endorsed and even subsidized Code Pink. Is the city of Berkeley, California complicit in treason? Constitutionally, Code Pink did commit treason. The latest book by Lt. Col. Robert "Buzz" Patterson (U.S. Air Force-Ret.) is called War Crimes: The Left's Campaign to Destroy Our Military and Lose the War on Terror. In the book, he claims that two anti-war groups -- "United for Peace & Justice" and "CODEPINK: Women for Peace" -- literally gave aid and comfort to terrorists when they delivered $600,000 in cash and supplies they claim was humanitarian aid to civilians.

POPSAttack Here First DeMint is proposing to pull all federal spending from Berkely. Draw a red circle around Berkeley.

POPSBerkeley Calls Marines “Unwelcome, Uninvited Intruders” The actions by the Berkeley City Council followed continuous protests by Code Pink and other anti-military organizations that vandalized and defaced the U.S. Marine Recruiting Center in September 2007. “We have hundreds of thousands of military men and women serving honorably overseas to protect our freedoms. Imagine how they feel when they go to turn on the news and see that they are being stabbed in the back by shameful people here at home, it’s disgraceful!” said Catherine Moy, Executive Director of Move America Forward.

POPSMore Gestapo--big $$$$ Pentagon documents released by the ACLU show that the DOD monitored the activities of a wide range of peace groups, including Veterans for Peace, Iraq Veterans Against the War, Military Families Speak Out, Code Pink, the American Friends Service Committee, the War Resisters League, and United for Peace and Justice. The organization said the Pentagon’s misuse of the TALON database is just one example of increased government surveillance of innocent Americans. “It cannot be an accident or coincidence that nearly 200 anti-war protests ended up in a Pentagon threat database,” said Ann Beeson, the ACLU’s Associate Legal Director. “This unchecked surveillance is part of a broad pattern of the Bush administration using ‘national security’ as an excuse to run roughshod over the privacy and free speech rights of Americans.”

POPSAmericans Turn to Youtube for War Movies During WWII, Hollywood was on America's side. In stark contrast, today's celebrities get more coverage if they take the Sean Penn/Susan Sarandon et al position, speaking at demonstrations with United for Peace and Justice and appearing alongside Code Pink marxists. Any shred of patriotism or love of country is spurned in Hollywood today. But there are consequences. As Van Helsing points out, "Hollyweenies are too drunk on moonbattery to realize that movies on Iraq acknowledging Americans as the good guys could make them some money". It goes far beyond money, though. People are turning the boob tube off, and theatres screening anti-war marxist/leninist/Stalinist Hollywood tripe are empty.

POPSMilitary Deaths near Peacetime Levels But you'll never hear this from the media. From the Jun 29, 2007 report done by the Congressional Research Service. Guys like Harry Reid would never refer to numbers like this, it would destroy their doom and gloom campaign.
