POPSUrban Myths about Viruses... What?!? Doesn't anyone read scientific journals/reporting any more. Viruses wrap up in fats to ride out cold weather outside or at high altitude. They catch a ride on a water molecule (whether water or ice). They end up on your coat, head, hands, mouth, eyes, etc. Once the temperature increases, they 'thaw' out and become 'active'. POPSProposed Utah coal plant blocked by EPA panel I sure am glad there was no EPA when I was growing up in W.Va. and Grandpa warmed our house with the coal stove in the middle of the living room. It's going to be a cold winter for most since everywhere alternative option is blocked by somebody. And I believe Obama promised to "bankrupt" the coal industry anyway. I held my nose and supported McCain because he was the better choice than Obama to me. Heck, Sen. Clinton was a better choice than Obama but she would not have fired up the black vote in droves. But I'm ready for a new leader...if there is such a thing in America anymore. I'm not looking for charisma, or celebrity, or smooth-talking, or promises of the moon. I'm just looking for someone who will take back the original intent of our Constitution and our freedoms to prosper by our own labor and responsibility. Is there someone with a passion for the American values that have made us the greatest Country on this earth and made us a haven and beacon for others? I'm not really sure. Good people do not want to subject themselves to the ridicule, the slander, the microscopic inspection of what's in your trash can. But ever the optimist...which I am not...Rush states: "Conservatives are free at last! Thank God Almighty, we're free at last -- to seek the mountaintop!"
