POPSPriest to deny Communion To Obama Supporters In 2004 I knowingly and willingly committed the grievous sin of voting for John Kerry. And, Lord help me, I'd do it again tomorrow. So I guess I am a sinner again according to this priest, and it makes me mad as hell all over again.

POPSGoogle Follows Flu Trends by your Key Stroaks There is a new common symptom of the flu, in addition to the usual aches, coughs, fevers and sore throats. Turns out a lot of ailing Americans enter phrases like “flu symptoms” into Google and other search engines before they call their doctors. That simple act, multiplied across millions of keyboards in homes around the country, has given rise to a new early warning system for fast-spreading flu outbreaks, called Google Flu Trends.

POPSRubin: My Friend, the "Neo-Nazi" I could say, I know him, he has been a guest in my home in New York and in my rented house in Provence, he bears absolutely no resemblance to the image these despicable people are trying to project of him, and lot's more. I could point out that I am Jewish and have VISIBLE JEWISH ARTIFACTS IN MY HOME, which did not appear to alarm Rashid, if he even noticed them, but it is all just so ridiculous I don't know what to say.

POPSColumbia military killing civilians Soldiers are kidnapping civilians, posing them as insurgents and killing them to pad their 'kill rate' so they can get promotions, time off, and extra pay. The depth of human depravity knows no bounds. The unseen tragedy of random killings is that the victim might have one day aspired to be a great leader or been instrumental in solving some medical mystery that could have benefited all of mankind. As the result of the selfishness and greed of a handful of murderous and theiving people, the rest of the world loses so much more. "If the responsibility of the army is to protect us from harm, how could they have killed my son this way?" Blanca Monroy, 49, Oviedo's mother, asked in an interview in her cinderblock home here. "The official explanation is absurd, if he was here just a day earlier living a normal life," she said. "The irony of it all is that my son dreamed of being a soldier" for the government.

POPS Saving America From Obama of the US Communist Party, unrepentant former Weather Underground terrorists, and a minister who preaches anti-Americanism. The head of the Black Muslim movement, Louis Farrakhan, recently declared him to be the “messiah.” We have learned too of his association with the Association of Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) initially as a “community organizer”, but ACORN is now revealed to have profited greatly from the Democrat programs that required banks and mortgage firms to make loans to the poor. It has led to the present financial crisis. ACORN is being investigated for massive voter registration abuses. Obama was closely associated with Antoine “Tony” Rezko, a convicted Chicago real estate developer who was a major political contributor. One would think that what we already know about Obama would be sufficient to dismiss him as a serious candidate for the presidency of the United States, but I am just as concerned about what we don’t know.

POPSAllies Of Palestinians See A Friend In Barack Obama And yet the warm embrace Obama gave to Khalidi, and words like those at the professor's going-away party, have left some Palestinian American leaders believing that Obama is more receptive to their viewpoint than he is willing to say. Among other community events, Obama in 1998 attended a speech by Edward Said, the late Columbia University professor and a leading intellectual in the Palestinian movement. According to a news account of the speech, Said called that day for a nonviolent campaign "against settlements, against Israeli apartheid." The use of such language to describe Israel's policies has drawn vehement objection from Israel's defenders in the United States. A photo on the pro-Palestinian website the Electronic Intifada shows Obama and his wife, Michelle, engaged in conversation at the dinner table with Said, and later listening to Said's keynote address.

POPSWhy Is The LA Times Refusing To Release Obama~Khalidi Tape? The American people have the right to make an informed choice and this tape is important to understanding who Barack Obama is and what he believes. Release the tape. McCain campaign accuses L.A. Times of 'suppressing' Obama video http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-video29-2008oct29,0,5458024.story In reporting on Obama's presence at the dinner for Khalidi, the article noted that some speakers expressed anger at Israel and at U.S. foreign policy, but that Obama in his comments called for finding common ground. It said that Khalidi in the 1970s often spoke to reporters on behalf of the Palestine Liberation Organization. Khalidi later lived near Obama while teaching at the University of Chicago. He is now a professor of Arab studies at Columbia University in New York.

POPSComing Soon to Morehouse and Spelman Personally, I think they should visit Candler & Columbia as well. Both are shallow, vacuous dead white men seminaries good for nothing but to be trodden under foot. Oh, well, sometimes I do get critical.
