POPSObama's Instant Plans to Overthrow Bush Orders
One of Bush's methods of shredding the American Constitution was to abuse the power of what's called: "Executive Orders." Congress would pass some piece of legislation and Bush, in secret, would write a little memo saying he wasn't going to obey that law, or parts of that law. This is not how 'Executive Orders,' were suppose to work. Obama's team has spotted 200 of such abusive Executive Orders that Obama can instantly delete -- since Bush wrote these things all on his own Obama will delete them all on his own. Targeted for instant deletion: 1. Prohibition on stem cell research 2. Limits to foreign aid bases on another nations' contraceptive or abortion policies. 3. Approval of oil drilling in sensitive areas. 4. Approval of torture. 5. Various Bush directives that denied climate change And will close down Guantanamo Bay prison and will end policies of indefinite detention and denial of habitus corpus. & 190 other things. Just the beginning of why he deserved

POPSObama Will Reverse Bush Executive Orders Mr. Podesta is John Podesta of the Center for American Progress. Another order being reviewed is the EPA's ruling on stricter emissions standards for California. Pretty much every president does this, but expect special interests on the right to howl anyway.

POPSCoca-Cola is a spermacide and kills AIDS? Kind of scary to think that Coca-Cola is shown scientifically to kill life... I guess Doctor MOM was right all along... Oh did you catch the thing about it killing the AIDS virus too?

POPSCola, stale chip research win win Ig Nobels What they found about the mechanism of sperm and aids killing makes me wonder if cola can be used on other micro organisms like MRSA. The sperm in the sugar, no doubt with the chemicals in cola acting as a catalyst, cause them to 'Eat themselves to death, through osmosis, and the recognition of sugar opening some cellular gates.

POPSAbstinence or a condom in every pot Over the past two decades, as more and more school systems have implemented abstinence programs, the rate of teen pregnancy has declined. The number of high-school students who say they are virgins has increased, and the abortion rate has dropped. Is all of this good news due to abstinence-only programs? It’s a complex subject, and the evidence remains inconclusive. And clearly any school abstinence message is practically drowned out by the vulgar and licentious culture all around us. Still, we may be slowly climbing out of the hole we’ve dug for ourselves. The last thing we should be doing is declaring abstinence education a failure.

POPSPill may put women off 'Mr Right's' scent In the last few years there have been great discoveries regarding the role of scent or pheromones, in sexual or physical attraction. We are only just beginning to learn how important they are. They recorded a difference in preferences, but the preferences tested were limited to genetic potential. They can't be sure how this factor extends to other elements of a relationship.

POPSThe Birth Control of Yesteryear
Unlike many other medicines of its time, silphium was not thought of as a mere folk remedy; Scholars and doctors of the day openly praised the plant's effectiveness as a contraceptive. Ancient Rome's foremost gynecologist– a physician named Soranus– wrote that women should drink the silphium juice with water once a month since "it not only prevents conception but also destroys anything existing." Alternatively, a tuft of wool could be soaked in the juice and inserted into the vagina as a pessary. During laserwort's heyday, Rome's birth rate decreased considerably despite increasing life expectancy, plentiful food, and relatively few wars or epidemics, and some historians cite this as evidence of the herb's effectiveness. Unfortunately, modern science will probably never determine whether the fennel's extract was really an effective form of parenthood prevention, nor will it measure laserwort's merit as a medicine. By the end of the first century AD, following a fifty year decline in s

POPSAl Gore Is Bad For The Planet
Iain Murray's rollicking exposé of environmental blowhards who waste more energy, endanger more species, and actually kill more people, than the environmental villains they finger. Did you know that estrogen from birth control and"morning after" pills is causing male fish across America to develop female sex organs? Funny how "pro-choice" and "environmentalist" liberals never talk about that. Or how about this: the Live Earth concert to "save the planet" released more CO2 into the atmosphere than a fleet of 2,000 Humvees emit in a year? We hear a lot about AIDS in Africa, but the number one killer of children in much of Africa is malaria-and guess who was responsible for banning the pesticide that used to have malaria under control? Iain Murray, a sprightly conservative environmental analyst with a long record of skewering liberal hypocrisy, has dug up seven of the environmental catastrophes caused by the Left and exposed them in The Really Inconvenient Truths.
