Sounds worth trying. *I assume this is what the recipe means by "unsweetened condensed milk", as I've never seen "unsweetened condensed milk" on the shelf of any of the groceries I shop at (including the Indian and East & South Asian shops). I'm not sure why they call for unsweetened, though, since masala chai is ordinarily heavily sweetened. One guidebook I read said "just look away while the chai-wallah stirs the sugar into your chai — you don't want to know how much he's using. Really, you don't." :-D

POPSrecipe: spicy lime & cilantro soup I'm currently trying (with only partial success) to fight off the Death Cold-Flu-Just-Kill-Me-Now thing that's going around our area. Tired, achy, low energy, not very hungry, and not able to stand up for too terribly long without getting dizzy -- so what to eat? This soup is just the ticket. Quick, easy, and mostly pantry-based (except for the lime juice and cilantro), its tart spiciness is exactly what I need when I'm sick and there's nobody around to go get takeout hot & sour soup. ;-)

The top of the muffins are crispy as cookies and the inside of the muffins are so moist and light. Also the melted chocolates are super delicious. i halved the recipe, used fat-free silk, a tablespoon of walnut oil, a teaspoon of cinnamon, a few pinches of allspice, and about a half a cup of zucchini. i left out the chocolate chips, but i think i’ll add them next time. they came out really well. The whole wheat flour really adds a nice texture to them. I just made them and the whole family thought they were great! I used almond milk and regular balsamic vinegar. I also made them in mini muffin sizes so I can enjoy more! I was impressed, the chocolate chips were melting when I ate one. it was luscious. I made regular sized muffins and added cranberries and pecans. it’s great to use a mildly flavored vinegar, so any kind of white vinegar would do
