POPSCBS, Couric to part ways Really, who didn't know this would be a complete disaster? I think everyone right of Gorbechev knew this wouldn't be a success.

POPSDiabetic girl dies as parents pray "She said her family believed in the Bible and that healing came from God. But she insisted that they were not "crazy religious people" "Even after her death, her parents, Dale and Leilani Neumann, who did not belong to any organised faith, prayed over her body in the hope that she might be resurrected."

POPSIndependeny Media Power vs. The Corporate Coup We now live in a country run by corporations. Its about time we take it back. Here is group bring minds together, give speeches and preach to the choir but to get together and and talk strategies. Its time Corporations end having the power to send lobbyists with pockets of cash to buy our rights from our Government. Its time we end allowing Countries to outsource jobs and reward them for it. Its time our government tells us to go out shopping to fix the economy. Its time we stop be gentle consumers and take back America before its too late.

POPSOperation Live Free or Die These people, in part, helped organize the Operation Live Free or Die rally. They're NOT dirty hippie protesters, but rather intelligent, articulate, former-tech employees. They know their issues and they know how to articulate them.

POPSLeonardo's 'Last Supper' Hides True Da Vinci Code Leonardo's 'Last Supper' Hides True Da Vinci Code A real da Vinci code is indeed hidden within Leonardo's "The Last Supper," according to a book to be published in Italy next week. "La Musica Celata" (which translates to "The Hidden Music") claims to have discovered nothing less than a sacred hymn and text, along with mystic symbols in da Vinci's degraded masterpiece.

POPSCBS Asks Judge to dismiss Dan Rather's suit CBS said it was in his contract and "CBS did not breach any obligation to rather" Isn't that what the suit is to determine? The suit was filed more than a year after the New York State statute of limitations expired,CBS said they were mystified by the suit. Looks like Dan Rather Might be going Federal. He doesn't seem the type to let the Statute of Limitations Stop him. If CBS aren't careful they'll get a lot more than $70 million dollars worth of bad publicity. They fired the wrong man.

POPSLeonardo's 'Last Supper' hides true Da Vinci Code A musical score described as a requiem was found by Giovanni Pala, when he drew the five lines of a musical 'Staff' and assigned notes to the hands and the bread. Da Vinci was an accomplished lyre player, and liked puzzles. I can imagine him laughing that it took someone so long to find. Still it would have been obvious to him, and one person's music can be another's noise.

POPSJournalism Update from the University of Texas Revealing her bias toward belief that she is guided by a higher power, and believing that Rather is a icon (rather than that the traitor from which Hannity would withhold his "You are a great American" comment), Ms. Page writes a nice column.

POPSAmerican Hero: Lt. Michael Murphy and Bill O'Reilly Pro USA means kissing ass in order to put a positive spin on Bush total failure as a president and leader. If Fox is so pro military, pro American, maybe they should devout time every night and report on every American casualty, instead of just the Medal Of Honor recipients. Oh, but wait, we can't do that that may make general public uncomfortable. This is just a Fox attempt at pushing forward their agenda utilizing the senseless death of one of many Americans, in exactly the same way they accuse the liberal media of doing. O Reilly is yet another worthless bag of hot conservative air tiring desperately the justify his morally corrupt position.

POPSNow I know why I love that damn Keith O. so much! Good news! There's already one out there on the launchpad who has demonstrated his qualifications. I'm talking about Keith Olbermann of MSNBC. He has the journalistic chops and the mind, heart, instincts and courage. Olbermann, who anchors a one-hour nightly news show on MSNBC called Countdown With Keith Olbermann, closes his show every night by saying "1,547th day since Mission Accomplished in Iraq," an hommage to Ted Koppel's "Iran Hostage" coverage, which evolved into Koppel's late-night ABC news show Nightline (the MSNBC show was originally Countdown: Iraq). Then Olbermann throws his crumpled script at the camera, which shatters, a simulated digital effect (something Koppel never did). More Below:

POPSSWIFTBOATING of GORE by US Media: Interview Vanity Fair
"Particularly in presidential elections … we in the press tend to deal in caricatures," says Dan Rather, who was then anchoring for CBS. "Someone draws a caricature, and it's funny and at least whimsical. And at first you sort of say, 'Aw shucks, that's too simple.' In the course of the campaign, that becomes accepted wisdom." He notes, "I do not except myself from this criticism." In 2000, the media seemed to focus on a personality contest between Bush, the folksy Texas rogue, and, as The New York Times referred to Gore, "Eddie Haskell," the insincere brownnoser from Leave It to Beaver. ABC anchor Claire Shipman, who covered the 2000 campaign for NBC, says, "It was almost a drama that was cast before anyone even took a good look at who the candidates were." Bush made it easy—he handed them a character on a plate. He had one slogan—compassionate conservatism—and one promise aimed squarely at denigrating Clinton: to restore honor and integrity to the White House. He was also perce

POPSTucker Carlson, Enraged by flirtation... HUH?
This is so typical of Tucker. His 'Locker Room' mentality permeates throughout his whole show. Tell me, "Why the hell did they throw, Phil Donahue off and put the likes of this immature idiot on?" Could it possibly be, that the average viewer of MSNumbedBC has the same EQ (emotional intelligence) as the likes of Tucker? If they would rather watch Carlson's banal rhetoric than spend an hour of intelligent conversations and great knowledge brought forth by someone like Phil, I guess we all know the answer to that question. Yet, this sometime bow-tied, sometime neck-tied schmuck should at least, keep his spew non-violent. When he crosses the line of civility and advocates on-the-air, that gays who go into men's rest-rooms should be battered if they are construed to look at you cross-eyed, then, even those who somehow enjoy his clownish conduct should object! THEY THREW DON IMUS UNDER THE BUS FOR LESS THAN THAT, at least Imus, was just an obnoxious clod and didn't champion brutality!

POPSThe BOSS: Mrs. McGrath - Anti-War song ... When I left my two fine legs behind A big cannon ball on the fifth of May Tore my two fine legs away" "Oh, Teddyboy," the widow cried "Your two fine legs were your mothers pride Stumps of a tree won't do at all Why didn't you run from the big cannon ball?" Chorus "All foreign wars I do proclaim live on the blood and the mothers pain I'd rather have my son as he used to be Than the King of America and his whole navy" Chorus Bruce Springsteen Album "We Shall Overcome" I think the Segal collection, his best ever, IMO. An old Irish song with its best ever version by the Boss - Mrs Grath. I cannot separate the images of those Iraq mens' broken bodies from this song. I've always loved his music so I'm somewhat biased but I believe this has been his best ever. Jacob's Ladder Erie Canal My Oklahoma Home Shenandoah Old Dan Tucker are just a few of his best. I'm not sure about using ClipMarks to promote music. There may be a better way? Anyone miss

POPSVoting machine fraud PROVEN, by Dan Rather Here is proof, by whistle blowers who worked for Sequoia for 25 years, that the paper ballots in the 2000 election were changed.
