Why Canada is the best haven from climate change
Socratoad
by Socratoad  7-4-2008    5
As might be expected, developed nations score best. Canada is top, followed by Ireland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden. The United Kingdom is in 12th position, just behind the US. The surprise in the top 20 is Uruguay, which is listed ninth, and the only well-placed nation not to be in the club of countries which are rich, or Western (and usually both).

The IWC Fails to protect whales.
papananook
by papananook  7-3-2008
Under Japan's special permit whaling programs, in 2007, a total of 551 Antarctic minke whales were taken under the JARPA II program, while 207 common minke, 100 sei, 50 Bryde's and three sperm whales were taken under the JARPN II program in the North Pacific. The issue of special permit whaling deeply divides the Commission and as in previous years, strong statements both in favor and against lethal research programs were made. The Japanese delegation said it is "strongly convinced" that the current situation is undesirable for all members and that the IWC must be normalized. "Japan commends and appreciates the tremendous efforts Chair-Hogarth has put in over the past year in order to once again make the IWC an effective organization that can fulfill its own mission, the conservation and management of whale resources," Japan said in a statement. Japan is of the view that "due to serious disagreements among different groups within the IWC, there has been a paucity of constru

He got off this time, but as the percentage of Muslims and other non-Westerners rises in Canada and other Western nations it will become harder and harder to get away with publishing the truth about Islam, or the negative consequences of the Third World immigration/invasion of the West including the resulting rapidly progressing nonviolent genocide of Western Man including its Jewish sub component.

Ice Cores Map Dynamics Of Sudden Climate Changes
Socratoad
by Socratoad  6-24-2008
he first sudden warming happened 14,700 years ago. The temperature in Greenland increased by more than 10 degrees, and in the milder climate, called the Bølling period, the first people of the Stone Age went towards Northern Europe and Scandinavia. But joy did not last long. 12,900 years ago the ice age stroke once more with a new severely cold period, which lasted until 11,700 years ago, at which time the ice age ended ultimately. The ice cores from Greenland, which reflect the climate in the Northern Hemisphere, show that tremendously fast climatic changes were involved. The ice age ended in one year
