POPSMedia rip McCain ads: "Dishonest, disreputable, dishonorable" Followed by brief video mashup of David Gergen, Andrea Mitchell (who was present at the alleged dodge of troop visit), CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, Chuck Hagel calling out McCain on falsehoods, along with Cindy's March claim that her husband will never resort to negative campaigning.

POPSMcCain's "Truth Squad" John McCain, Bud Day and Paul Galanti are all war heroes. As is General Clark who returned from Vietnam after receiving four bullet wounds. The difference is that while General Clark reasonably questioned a political candidates ability to lead a nation, John McCain welcomed into his flock two dishonest, deplorable political operatives who he previously described as "dishonorable" Day, and the swifties, opened themselves up to not only criticism but also the complete loss of face, i.e. hero worship and that Honored Discription of others, Hero, by their Blatant Lying with nothing to back up their charges against a Sailor doing an Extremely Dangerous Job On The Ground, i.e. in small boats on the rivers of, Vietnam! And not only one Sailor but those serving with him directly, those serving on the other boats from that base, All Navy Personal Serving In-Country

POPSLet's Start Using Our Brains I've not vetted this account but if true it is a particularly stunning example of gullible saps causing real damage by their irresponsible actions.

POPSMinnesota REAL ID Showdown: Governor vs Legislature In this very bias article by the newspaper the reader is left with an incorrect impression: Gov. Tim Pawlenty killed a bill to bar national identity card rules, but issued a conciliatory executive order. No, it is entirely dishonest to say the Governor "killed" the bill against REAL ID when they later inform the reader of this fact: A bill prohibiting Minnesota's compliance with the Real ID requirement passed last week by overwhelming veto-proof margins in both the House and the Senate. The Governor cannot "kill" a bill that the legislature can over-ride. This battle is not over, but its clear the governor is playing the sycophant, carefully, for the Dept of Homeland Tyranny: The executive order, he added, "will give us an opportunity to work with our federal partners and state legislators to resolve the valid concerns regarding this program."

POPSHealth Care Is Not a Right Some people can't afford medical care in the U.S. But they are necessarily a small minority in a free or even semi-free country...As to this small minority, in a free country they have to rely solely on private, voluntary charity. Yes, charity, the kindness of the doctors or of the better off—charity, not right, i.e. not their right to the lives or work of others. And such charity, I may say, was always forthcoming in the past in America. The advocates of Medicaid and Medicare under LBJ did not claim that the poor or old in the '60's got bad care; they claimed that it was an affront for anyone to have to depend on charity.

POPSThe Narrative on "White Voters" is Fiction They've swallowed the Clinton racially-obsessed spin, hook, line and sinker. Not since Ronald Reagan has an American presidential candidate withstood such an assault in the media and seen his popularity not hurt by it, but, rather, galvanized by it. That's what is meant, in politics, by the term "Teflon." Those facts won't stop many media (and Internet) talking heads from continuing - whether out of gullibility or intentional dishonesty - to prop up the "white voters" narrative, but it ought to inoculate you, kind reader, from believing it. Don't let yourself get upset when some idiot repeats the false media narrative. Don't plead with them to tell the truth (they won't; remember, they're either stupid or dishonest). Mock them. Ridicule them. Expose them as the lightweights they are showing themselves to be, with all the confidence that understanding the hard data ought to provide you.

POPSDid McCain agree with Obama before he disagreed? From the article: "Sure, it's not exactly the same, but it's pretty darn similar. In fact, McCain seems to be saying something far more controversial. While Obama is saying economic hardship breeds anti-immigrant feelings, McCain is saying lots of rural people just hate Hispanics. That may or may not be true - but the fact that McCain's campaign is feigning outrage over Obama's truisms when their own candidate has made thematically similar statements strikes me as...what's the word...oh yeah - dishonest."

POPSA Worldview Destroying America
History Repeats Itself - many of these you can replace the word "Israel" with "America" and "Jerusalem" with "city" and gain much insight - where we are and were we are headed. Ezekiel 22:25-28"There is a conspiracy of her prophets in her midst like a roaring lion tearing the prey. They have devoured lives; they have taken treasure and precious things; they have made many widows in the midst of her. 26 "Her priests have done violence to My law and have profaned My holy things; they have made no distinction between the holy and the profane, and they have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they hide their eyes from My sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. 27 "Her princes within her are like wolves tearing the prey, by shedding blood and destroying lives in order to get dishonest gain. 28 "Her prophets have smeared whitewash for them, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying, 'Thus says the Lord God,' when the Lord has not spoken.

POPSDisgraceful, Insecure McCain Campaign Manipulated Bob Dole It was not an endorsement of McCain in any way, shape, manner, or form! It's another instance here of McCain campaign manipulation. They are the ones using Senator Dole. They are the ones manipulating him. I'm thinking, you know, what I ought to do. I ought to take copy of this letter that Senator Dole sent me; put it on eBay; auction it off much like the Dingy Harry smear letter, and then give the proceeds to Mitt Romney! I'm just thinking about it. I'm absolutely not going to do it. Folks, let me hit you between the eyes and fire with both barrels, here. (sigh) It's uncomfortable. This is not a situation... This is not why I got into this business

POPSScience Illiteracy in Fla The first paragraph pretty much sums up the lack of science literacy that exists across the country. The second paragraph points to the lies used by creationists to worm their religious views into science classes. These bible thumpers are clueless when it comes to what science is. They want a one to one comparison between science and religion and go so far as to claim that science changing its views as new evidence is discovered is a fault. They evidently want science to adopt a dogmatic approach to knowledge. How pathetic. Reading the comments of the religionists one is left with the impression that they are genuinely afraid for their faith. They seem to view science as a threat and therefore are justified to sidestep, lie, and misrepresent what science is and what their agenda is in attempting to water down the impact that science could have on their religion. Not only is this cowardly but extremely dishonest. As I said earlier, pathetic.

POPSBright Days and Dark Days The Great Spirit created the world in which all mankind lived in peace and harmony at one time, the polititions of Canada and the United States do not believe in the Great Spirit, oh they say these believe in God, but look at what they do, can anyone who does the things they do in the name of the people they are supposed to represent or do the evil they inflict upon the people of the earth, the indigenous Peoples of Turtle Island, believe in God. Can anyone take their word on anything, they act like they are the minions of Satan, instead of followers of Christianity. Cougar

POPSDishonest?....or.....Stupid? Take a good hard look at the antics of John McCain and don't let the "hero" card get in your way. I ask America: Why do we put as frontrunners two smug, manipulating, LYING, backstabbers like Hillary Clinton and John McCain? Ask yourself! Ask your friends! Ask your family! Why do we flock to these people. Is it a reflection of our own collective self-imagery? Then let's admit we ourselves may be scoundrels at times ~~ AND LOOK FOR SOMETHING BETTER IN OUR LEADERS!
