POPSThe government double whammy As only government can do. The thing that troubles me the most is the insistence that many of these problems were caused by inner city mortgages and low-income earners. I know this is mostly hate-filled, leftist, BS propaganda meant only to further division in this country, but I have heard the same in the mainstream media. We should not forget that there are millions of people who who bought more house than they could afford and most are upper income folks. Don't fall into the cess-pool with the likes of these hate-filled morons.

POPSThis was well said... The division is intentional. The left profits from it. It is their M.O. The only unity they want is a forced organic unity bred from the ideology they espouse. The resurgence of this fascist tendency is the 800 pound gorilla in the room. The less credibility we allow these complete idiots, the better.

POPSDinner Bell Rings for Financial Feeding Frenzy AIG today revealed what many private-equity firms, banks and asset managers want to know about the company’s asset sales to pay back an $85 billion government loan: What’s for dinner? AIG CEO Edward Liddy put an end to the suspense today. Here is what AIG is putting on the block: the U.S. life, retirement and pensions businesses, the personal-lines property-casualty business and at least a minority stake in its foreign life insurance business. All of AIG’s non-insurance businesses, including aircraft leasing, consumer finance division, U.S. auto insurance, a reinsurance business and asset manager, are also likely to be put on the block.

POPSOur Future is ours to write The grand Unified Theory of Time Space, and Existence. We all have a choice. The choice between Light and Darkness. The Darkness is ignorance, division, fear, and oppression, hunger and need., The light is knowledge, understanding, acceptance, unity, compassion, empathy, faith, hope, and Love. There is a reason we fear the darkness. It will kill us. But only if we believe it is so. When we allow in the light, the Darkness has no substance, and so ceases to exist. So our fears can be relieved, and replaced with hope. The Future is ours to write.

POPSSouthern Cal mom on trial in gang murder case She and co-defendant Herbierto Garcia, 17, were in court Wednesday for the start of their trial, both charged with first-degree murder and facing 25 years to life in prison if convicted. Garcia was charged as an adult in connection with Cano's stabbing. Cano slipped and fell and was set upon by the group, which beat him as Garcia administered the deadly knife attack, Lonergan said. Daley and Garcia have pleaded not guilty. Daley's attorney Javier Ramirez said she never knew any of the teens she was driving were carrying a weapon and suggested she may have been caught up by circumstance. Of the six youths — ages 13 to 17 — charged in the case, five pleaded guilty to manslaughter and were sentenced to time in the California Department of Corrections' Division of Juvenile Justice, Lonergan said.

POPSBank Bailout Bill Wants to Avoid Court Scrutiny
As if this latest Grand Larceny of the Bush Administration, paying off the banks and their lobbyist with $700 billion or more in debt that will strangle American's prospects and it's people for decades -- now they propose avoiding one of the clearest know principles of the U.S. Constitution: "Checks & Balances." Checks & Balances means that the division of power in the United States is legally divided (or suppose to be legally divided) between three sources: The President, Congress and the Courts. Bush has already *ucked this over but this is the first time I've actually seen it spelled out, in print, in a proposed piece of legislation that the Bush White House wants to ram down our throats in the next four days. So, they're saying: "We need $700-billion MORE, and we need it in four days, and nobody can review or question what we do." This is Exactly want Checks & Balances is intended to prevent; rip offs. Bush's last act in the White House will probably be to steal the

POPSArmy Will Deploy Homeland Defense Unit Welkommen sie zu Homeland Security. HALT! Starting Oct 1 in case of "civilian unrest", just in time for the elections and financial crisis. This mission will become a "permanent one". The US will now become "occupied", gradually, just like Iraq. Can you say "police state"? According to this article this could be called the invasion of the C-smurfs (see last line). So much for posse comitatus that forbids the military for domestic policing.

POPSPalin Hired Friends and Lashed Foe When Ms. Palin had to cut her first state budget, she avoided the legion of frustrated legislators and mayors. Instead, she huddled with her budget director and her husband, Todd, an oil field worker who is not a state employee, and vetoed millions of dollars of legislative projects.
