Car Title Loans in Clovis NM
TitleLoans
by TitleLoans  11-12-2009
It all starts with the application online. This is just a fast way to see how much you can get on the vehicle. If you like the number we can go to a full application but you will almost without a doubt be approved if we tell you a value on your car and it qualifies for a car title loan in Clovis. "Amazing. That's about the sum of it. My mortgage was behind. My utilities was behind. My boss said he would be another week before he could pay me. I checked out you guys and you gave me a loan in less than one day. I cannot tell you what the value of a good nights sleep is when you have these issues. You also made my payments easy for me to do by giving me so long to pay this back. I don't know if everyone in Clovis knows about you guys but I am sure gonna try to get the word out - James W - Clovis, NM"

Thomas Sowell: Random Thoughts
merrie
by merrie  11-10-2009    1
But what this means is that even the record-breaking federal deficit understates the government's real financial liabilities, because agencies like FDIC and the Federal Housing Authority are likely to need increased amounts of money to keep going. An e-mail from a reader says that liberals like to take the moral high ground, even though their own moral relativism means that there is no moral high ground. I doubt whether the man responsible for the massacre at Fort Hood will pay with his life for the lives that he took. He may well be free again someday. We can only hope that he does not get a hero's welcome when he arrives in some terror-sponsoring country, the way the Lockerbie bomber did. A recent study by the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights showed that, after the housing boom and bust, blacks, whites, Hispanics, Asian Americans and American Indians all reduced their subprime mortgage loans. Only politicians seem not to have learned anything from the economic disaster ...

Bush or Obama: The Quiz
willhelm
by willhelm  11-10-2009    1
 5. While Obama criticized Bush for "a doubling of the national debt," the federal debt held by the public went from 35.1% of GDP in 2000 to 40.8% of GDP in 2008 -- an increase of 16% as of fraction of GDP. What is it expected to be in 2016 under Obama's budget plan? 6. Obama criticized Bush for Guantanamo, military tribunals, wiretaps, troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, and "signing statements." Which one of these Bush practices has Obama ended?

A quiet voice for gay marriage
ratilfar
by ratilfar  11-8-2009    8
Many of these former spouses -- from those who still feel raw resentment toward their exes to those who have reached a mutual understanding -- see the legalization of same-sex marriage as a step toward protecting not only homosexuals but also heterosexuals. If homosexuality was more accepted, they say, they might have been spared doomed marriages followed by years of self-doubt. "It's like you hit a brick wall when they come out," Brooks said. "You think everything is fine and then, boom!" Carolyn Sega Lowengart calls it "retroactive humiliation." It's that embarrassment that washes over her when she looks back at photographs or is struck by a memory and wonders what, if anything, from that time was real. Did he ever love her?

CoerciveCare Bill Passes House 220-215, Sat Night
blueridge
by blueridge  11-8-2009    2
Mandatory health care insurance reform bill passes House. Socialist Security 2.0. Never mind that half the population opposed this. And the "public option" is not optional--it is now mandated that you must buy health insurance. How is it that the Federal government can force you to buy something? Private property rights are trampled, the government thinks it can tell you to buy something or face jail and/or tax penalties. This also then means every American's private and personal health information will be put into a data-base system, the end of privacy. Your health care, and body, will belong to the Collectivist Society now and the Government , which will no doubt link this to your National ID Card (REAL ID and PASS ID system) --increasing the Electronic Leash on "free" Americans.

Our acupuncturist pronounces it "Zen Goo Shway". Similar to Ben-gay and other topical liniments, Team LexiMonkey always keeps a couple of bottles of this stuff on hand. our local Vietnamese grocery carries it, Excellent for aches and pains and bruises. There are stories of fighters breaking an arm, soaking the arm in ZGS, taping it up, and going on to win the match. Our acupuncturist discounts the literal interpretation of that story, but this is really great stuff.

Hell's Angel - A Documentary for the Discerning
celestialdancer
by celestialdancer  11-3-2009    1
I used to be a great admirer of Mother Theresa. I even met her, heard her speak and was kissed by her. It wasn't until fairly recently I started to question the "goodness" of her work - particularly in the arena of abortion and contraception. If I was a young/older mother incapable (financially, physically, emotionally, mentally) of supporting and caring for my about to be born child, would I still choose to have it. If I knew, that by allowing this child to be born, the most likely scenario of life that it had to look forward to was an over crowded orphanage, would I still choose to bring that child into the world? If I genuinely, in my heart of hearts knew I was not the mothering kind and my boyfriend also did not want a baby, but our families were putting pressure on us to have one would I be condemned for wanting to "sell my child for $30 to some utter stranger? (recent newsclip on clipmarks) If I genuinely loved children, would I knowingly bring them into a life where all t
