POPSAdding and Removing a YP Server is so annoying!! I was trying to retire an old nis slave machine and deleted his name from /var/yp/binding/<domainname>/ypservers. But the thing is not just it! I couldn't: # cd /var/yp; make yet... So I googled and found this tip. It helped me and solved the problem.
