POPS Ohio Couple Giving Up Baby After Clinic Mix-Up
Savage and her husband decided that the right thing"the only thing"to do was to give the baby to the biological parents. "This was someone else's child," she told The Associated Press on Wednesday. "We didn't know who it was. We didn't know if they didn't have children or if this was their last chance for a child." "We knew if our child was out there, we'd go to the ends of the earth to get our child back," she said. Savage, 40, is due to give birth to a boy within the next two weeks via cesarean section. When it happens, biological parents Paul and Shannon Morell, of Michigan, will be nearby, waiting to meet their son. "How do you thank somebody for what they've done?" Shannon Morell said. "I could say thank you a million different ways." The Savages say the fertility clinic transferred the wrong frozen embryo to Carolyn's womb in early February. Ten days later, Sean Savage got a call from a doctor saying his wife was pregnant with someone else's child.

POPSChickens Not Fooled by GM Crops GM corn found itself in the hot seat late last year, after a highly reputable study commissioned by the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety discovered that mice fed GM corn had significantly smaller and fewer offspring compared to the control group. The lead author of the study stated there was a direct link between the GM diet and reduced fertility. Likewise, Jeffrey Smith, author of Seeds of Deception and Genetic Roulette, has documented 65 serious health risks from GM products of all kinds. Among them: * Offspring of rats fed GM soy showed a five-fold increase in mortality, lower birth weights, and the inability to reproduce * Male mice fed GM soy had damaged sperm * The embryo offspring of GM soy-fed mice had altered DNA functioning * Several US farmers reported sterility or fertility problems among pigs and cows fed on GM corn varieties So the question is, what

Man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs... Dr. Ellie Sattler: Dinosaurs eat man. Woman inherits the earth... Is this really a good idea?

POPSBioengineered mouse tooth more: The bioengineered tooth has the same hardness as ordinary teeth and it contains blood vessels and nerves, making it sensitive to external stimuli and pain, according to the researchers. This research is expected to advance the development of “tooth regenerative therapy,” which may one day allow doctors to replace diseased or damaged teeth with bioengineered teeth grown from stem cells such as induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells. This type of treatment could ultimately eliminate the need for dentures and false teeth.

POPSGeorgia -- nearsighted as ever Once again, the preacher in chief Sonny Perdue, has proclaimed that religious dogma is superior to scientific research. This is the same guy the lead prayer vigils on the steps of the state capital when George or was undergoing her drought. So now the truth is known. Georgia has taken the forefront in the battle against science. Let's hear it for superstition and religious dogma.
