Why $$$ won't bring you dollars! - What you OUGHT to KNOW before using SAP Email Marketing Lists
biancafinn
by biancafinn  Today 12:39 AM
Most marketers think that buying a SAP email marketing list ends all their business problems. Without understanding the prerequisites of using the email lists, they send emails immediately, get damaging results and blame the lists for the campaign failure! To earn some real money with email marketing, you must do a lot more than sending a pretty email to a huge prospect list.

10% US Mosques preach Jihad
kareval

The problem is not the Quran, which is no more incendiary than some passages in the Bible. (Deuteronomy, for example, prescribes stoning to death for those who “served other gods and worshipped them.”) The problem is the radical element that uses the Quran as an excuse to engage in terrorism and the failure of many moderate Muslims to condemn the extremists.

Obama and The Democrats Want You to Know They Had a Good Week
merrie
by merrie  11-9-2009    1
During his campaign, in effect, Mr Obama promised to be the constraint: to oversee Congress and guide it with a moderating hand. That was the difference he promised to make. There were always going to be limits to what he could do, but his failure so far even to try has been total. He has let nearly every agenda be set by the Democrats’ left-leaning congressional leadership. This comes in a country in which 40 per cent of voters call themselves conservatives, 36 per cent moderates and 20 per cent liberals. Voters are confused and concerned about the policies coming forward " above all by their mounting cost " but he has made little effort to explain or reassure, let alone influence. He has chosen to act as cheerleader for whatever congressional Democrats cook up. On healthcare, Mr Obama stood aside during months of chaotic haggling in Congress. By the summer, unsurprisingly, voters opposed to reform outnumbered voters in favour " again, above all, expressing worries . . .

Fannie & Freddie NOT included in Obama's Financial Regulations
billpar
by billpar  11-9-2009    1
In analyzing the mortgage crisis, economist Walter E. Williams has written: “Starting with the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977, that was given more teeth during the Clinton administration, Congress started intimidating banks and other financial institutions into making loans, so-called sub-prime loans, to high-risk homebuyers and businesses. “The carrot offered was that these high-risk loans would be purchased by the government-sponsored enterprises Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Anyone with an ounce of brains would have known that this was a prescription for disaster but there was a congressional chorus of denial,” he added. “The financial collapse of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is not a failure of the free market because lending institutions in a free market would not have taken on the high-risk loans,” said Williams. “They were forced to by the heavy hand of government.”

1 Gang 1 Way or (Multi-Way if used with slave) 400 Watt Remote and Touch Dimmer, with Trailing Edge
glossop
by glossop  11-5-2009
1 Gang, , Max Wattage: 400w, Min Wattage: 20w, Plate Finish: Dimension Screwless Mirror Chrome, Height: 86 Width: 86. Please note Touch/Remotes do not dim wire-wound low voltage transformers, choose the Intelligent Dimmer (IQ Dimmer) or alternatively look at the 630 Watt Low Voltage Standard Dimmer to dim this type of transformer. The Touch/Remotes also do not dim fans and inductive loads, choose the Intelligent Dimmer (IQ Dimmer) or look at Fan Regulators for these awkward loads, . The touch/Remote Dimmer can be used for mains incandescent GLS lamps (standard mains light bulbs), maximum load as specified on dimmer. It can also dim GU10 or similar Hi Spot Mains Halogen lamps (only use quality UK supplied lamps) maximum load as specified on dimmer. By using Touch/Remote dimmers there is a zero risk of damage in case of lamp failure and a dramatically improved lamp life.

When a batter gets hit by a pitcher, do we sue a pitcher who happens to be throwing a curve ball, because the pitcher was trying to be sneaky? Or, maybe the batter couldn't move fast enough? Judge should overrule this -- why did the idiot judge allow it to go to trial????

Having a positive attitude despite handicaps

There are times and situations in our lives when we would like nothing better than to lie down, give-up and give-in to despair at the adversities and obstacles we are faced with. More often than not we cry out in our anguish, “Why me?” It may be alright to grieve about difficulties or failures now and then, but we should not do it for long.
