POPSDid you know “greenwash” now attracts fines if your name or marketing exaggerates your green claims? 50% of consumers pay more for goods and services they believe are sustainable. BELIEVE is the critical word here. This has attracted a lot of false and exaggerated marketing claims and the regulators have stepped in. Your business could inadvertently get caught with big fines if you breach their guidelines. They are looking at words like Eco…this and Enviro…that, environmental images that are not relevant to the product or service and vague promises. “greenwashing” is really fraud.

POPSGeologic Evidence of the Cause of Global Warming and Cooling The warming over the past 50 years is hardly even noticeable on the 15,000 year graph above. Compare the peaks about every 800-1000 years for the past 10,000 years (since the last full ice age), all are much warmer than what we're experiencing now. In fact the last 1,000 years has been unusually cool for this interglacial period, just looking at the graph it certainly looks like we've been over due for warming (or if our interglacial period is over another full ice age which would be much worse).

POPSPope Led Cover-up of Child Abuse by Priests This spotlight now after his recent "apology" for sexual abuse by priests that lacked any credibility. The Pope is a liar, like the devil, as history has consistently demonstrated. "By their fruits ye shall know them", Jesus warned of false prophets. Voila! Where is the repentance for his own role in these crimes of protecting the false church (the primary concern) through evasion and cover-up instead of prosecution and removal? Mass-mongering will never erase nor bring forgiveness for these heinous sins from either God or men! This Antichristian cult must be seen for what it is, a religious-political empire claiming "apostolic authority" of wealth and corruption, pomp, priest-craft, and unscriptural ceremonies that Jesus and the apostles never taught, but consistently warned about would come. This is NOT, nor ever was, a true Christian church or faith, but an impostor.

POPSFalse Premises I often come across people attempting to argue that atheism is some sort of a creed or even a religion. This clip touches on why this simply isn't the case. The article itself goes into much greater detail.

POPSThe individual we think of today was actually born in the Renaissance. some more quotations: Open Source Democracy—which I wrote about a decade ago—is not simply a way to get candidates elected to office. It is a collective reprogramming of the social software, a disengagement from the myths through which we abdicate responsibility, and a reclamation of our role as citizens who participate in the creation of the society in which we want to live. This is not personal democracy at all, but a collective and participatory democracy where we finally accept our roles as the fully literate and engaged adults who can make this happen. " i like it. One should be active in how he feels life should be.

POPSSex, lies and some existential questions.. :-) So many orchids treat their pollinators so nastily, with false promises of food and sex or the occasional dunking of insect visitors into bucket-shaped petals full of liquid, that naturalists have puzzled over the relationship for more than a century. Darwin was so consumed by the odd interactions that after “The Origin of Species,” his next book was an entire volume on the subject, “The Various Contrivances by Which Orchids Are Fertilized by Insects.”

POPSObama Now Supports The Bush Policy?...And How 'Bout The Worshipping Media The press isn’t just acting like Obama is already president - they’re exceeding the sort of international coverage they have given the sitting president, who could barely buy a headline while in Africa and whose recent trip to Japan - which occurred during his birthday - went widely unnoted. But that’s the honest, balanced, unbiased mediating intelligence” of the modern day mainstream media. You do realize, don’t you, that if a GOP candidate with weak foreign policy was doing the same thing - making a “world tour” with dramatic backdrops - the press would be sneering about how the whole thing is a “stunt” meant to “deflect his inexperience.” I know you know it, but I had to say it, anyway. But hey, no bias here.

POPSChertoff: Terrorists Are Coming This Election Season! EU Terrorists, he says he knows they are trying....but yet they never catch any trying? Right! Propaganda, stay tuned for false flag events this election season, or maybe just more fear mongering to drive the agenda. Key word: "dirty bomb", after 7 years of zero attacks and mere rhetoric. Isn't it obvious that terrorists would lay low to prevent war policy being driven again? Now who would have such a motive, really? (Whats preventing the true perps from doing it is that it cripples the economy too much, as 9/11 did).

POPS3 Myths About Offshore Drilling "Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) claimed "not a drop of oil was spilled during Katrina or Rita." This myth has been told again and again by the likes ofGov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA), Interior Secretary Dirk Kempthorne, Mike Huckabee, George Will, and Bill O'Reilly. There were, in fact, major onshore and offshore spills due to the hurricanes."

POPSFacts matter The Iraqis most enthusiastic about Obama’s plan surely are al-Qaeda members, Sadrists, Iranian agents and sectarian killers of every stripe. The prospect of an American president suddenly letting up on them has to be the best cause for hope they’ve had in months. Obama’s withdrawal would immediately embolden every malign actor in Iraq, and increase their sway in Iraqi politics. In his oped, Obama sticks to the badly dated contention that Iraqis “have not reached the political accommodation that was the stated purpose of the surge.” In fact, roughly 15 of 18 political benchmarks have been met by the Iraqis — progress Obama threatens to reverse.
