POPSA signal to NATO "Russia. This is about Georgia being competitive with Russia for the European market and Georgian moves to try to enter NATO. This is Putin saying "back -off" NATO." Russia is creating problems for many of it's break-away states. Usually, as in the case with Ukraine recently, it centers on oil. And we can see that Russia is working very hard to buy and claim oil reserves all over the world, they use their resources as weapons against it's former states, and reassert it's will in the region and the world. These motivations are even more troubling when you consider that many journalists consider Russia to be a modern fascist police state.

I do not know who David Mamet is but I find the story rather familiar in my own transformation and in the natural maturity of many as they gain wisdom and perspective. It gets frustrating at times seeing and hearing comments that are based on such lack of clarity. This is more evidence that the natural growth and transformation is toward a Libertarian stance founded in clear-mindedness, Conservative stance on constitutional intent, and Incrementalism as the wisest approach to societal advance in the face of fascist-progressivism.

He of all people should not only understand where the Con. stands on this, but also the reasons why the right to bear arms is even in it. We have the right to bear arms specifically in the case that our government is usurped from us and we have to retaliate. The would never be any greater or more noble a reason than this. Any person who both says that we should trust him with the FISA compromise as well as consider the government's right to take our arms away smells like the enemy to me. I am not a gun owner myself but appreciate the reasoning this is in the Con. Obama is starting to scare me, he may be charming but his words belie a very disconcerting position on the role of government and seem fascist to me.
