POPSOldest cat in America dies, shocking discovery made Health officials called to the scene with Human Control Services reported that the conditions were quite distressing. "There were far to many old women living here, and the food provided was inadequate.", said Agent Fluffy. "The water in the tub for them was stale. And their litter boxes were atrocious." The 72 old women were rounded up and taken to a "no-kill" shelter in Dallas, pending the reading of Caterack's will. It is believed that the estate is to be left to these old women, many of them now feral, all with some health problems. Regrettably, the descendants of Caterack are expected to contest that, so authorities are broadcasting a plea to any other cats out there who can accomodate two or three of these old women. "They are good old women", said Agent Fluffy. "They've been fairly well kept all in all. They need good homes, and lots of love." Cats interested can call 1-800-OLD-LADY.

POPSSiberian husky plays foster mother to kittens More: Now that they've been spayed or neutered, all three cats are available for adoption. "They're all incredibly sweet and friendly," Kidder said. "I'd love to adopt them myself, but I can't. It wouldn't be fair to my cat, Enkidu." But what will Tamerack do when her kittens are adopted? "I'm going to take her up to the snow as a reward," Kidder said. "If she's still missing them after that, I'll guess I'll have to start fostering more kittens."

POPS"Feral cat pack terrorise town" more (at source): Other residents say they have to stop their children playing outside because of the cat attacks — which they liken to a horror similar to Hitchcock film The Birds. One 59-year-old woman said she no longer lets her grandchildren play in the street, adding: "The situation has got out of hand. It is like The Birds around here - but with cats. "They have damaged fences and sheds. It is ruining our quality of life." Another local said the screeching wild cats keep residents up all night.

POPSHoney Bees, Hives, Propolis & Social Immunity
In experiments funded by the US National Science Foundation, Simone's team painted the inside walls of hives with an extract of propolis collected from Brazil or Minnesota. This inside layer mimicked how propolis or resins would be distributed in a feral colony nesting in a tree cavity. They then created colonies of honeybees and housed either in hives enriched with resin, or hives without the resin layer - to act as a control. After one week of exposure they collected bees that had been born in each colony. Honeybee propolis Propolis is a mixture of resins and wax Genetic tests on these 7-day-old bees showed that those growing in the resin-rich colonies had less active immune systems. "The resins likely inhibited bacterial growth. Therefore the bees did not have to activate their immune systems as much," said Simone. "Our finding that propolis in the nest allows bees to invest less in their immune systems after such a short exposure was surprising. Resins in the hive

POPSFree Will – Really? Great essay discussing the fallacy of ‘free will’. Some interesting US history thrown in to illustrate how oppressive our government has become. She also touches on how the medical profession has been poisoning us by making us believe we need them.

POPS The Clever Manipulation of Projection and Paranoia
OBAMA AND THE NEO-MARXIST LEFT In order to achieve his collectivist agenda, Obama and the left need a scapegoat. Watch and see who is being scapegoated and you will understand what is now happening in this country. To maintain popular support, the dedicated socialist "needs voters to stay angry at designated class enemies. When all else fails, they will crank up the hate and the projection ; and "turn feral with frightening speed." Obama will attempt to preserve the illusion of private enterprise, even as he demonizes entrepreneurs and scapegoats them to avoid having the federal government accept its own role in the current economic crisis. Through the clever use of projection and paranoia; by scapegoating the productive and the wealthy, Obama's government will grow bigger and more powerful and never have to take responsibility for the worsening state of the economy. The necessary scapegoats are in place...let the show trials commence! via Dr.Zero's astute observation
