POPSGoogle Wave Rolls Out to 100,000 Users Tomorrow The idea is to drag email and IM into real-time—so it's free-wheeling mesh of Twitter, IM, Friendfeed really, any other kind of service presenting semi-real-time stuff in a stream. But in Google Wave, you can share and collaborate on projects, and all of this is mashed together at once, so it might be the ultimate service for people with ADD, or enterprise looking to simulate the feeling of 10 people standing around a desk scattered with a bunch of projects, but you're all able to work on any of them simultaneously while you're also whispering to the cute girl across the table about the new sushi place around the corner. You start a wave with any message or photo or whatever, and you bring people into the discussion, and then they can bring other people in as well (unless you block it or start kicking people out) so it's as public or private as you want it to be.

POPSThinking About Taking a Day Trading Class / Course ? Day Trading Courses: Want to Take a Day Trading Class? http://daytradecourses.com/day-trading-class/ Are you thinking about taking a day trading class to begin your education? There are many online classes available which show you how to perform technical analysis, use day trading software and even teach specific strategies. Before you pick a class you may want to think deeply about what type of day trader you would like to be. Your trading account size, available time for trading per week and trading profit goals can eliminate taking courses that waste your time. As humans we tend to complicate things unnecessarily sometimes and this happens often in trading.

POPSBlackberry Acquire Torch To Change Their Browser Gabriel Lavoie drew my attention to this on the TWiT FriendFeed. I think this is a disinenguous quote from Kevin Restivo "Clearly, the smartphone market has evolved to the point where people, be it consumers or corporate users, need a fully fledged web browsing experience". We have been clamoring for this for years. We were just ignored.

POPSPut FriendFeed Posts On Facebook This was a lot more complicated than I expected. The end gain is you can use FriendFeed to update both your Twitter and Facebook if you work it right. Twitter can then update Windows Live as well (this requires install of Twitter Gadget on Windows Live)

POPSFashionable Dog Costume for your favorite pooch
More and more dog owners are becoming fascinated with fashionable dog costumes. Buying a dog costume for your favorite pooch is becoming a new craze nowadays. And because of this, most dog clothing stores accepted this idea and made adjustments in their dog clothing line to accommodate this tremendous change. Celebrities have been the initiators of such craze by not only dressing up their dogs, but also dressing them up for certain occasions. Have you seen a Chihuahua wearing a princess like dress that is similar to Cinderella? Or have you seen a Pug wearing a Batman costume? You would definitely agree that they look so cute and adorable. Since dogs are considered a major part of our family, you always want to share with them special events in the family as well. Some dog owners would dress up their favorite four-legged buddy during Halloween, Christmas and New Year. Dog costume has already been a part of any dog owner’s list when buying dog clothes. Because of an increase demand

POPS Facebook to compete with Google? "Google has long tried to get into the social game, and Facebook surely wouldn't mind expanding into some of Google's territory. It's as classic an American struggle as Pepsi vs. Coke. Two companies, one market. Regardless of which side you choose, Facebook will be happy to air your thoughts on the matter. After all, that's why Facebook bought FriendFeed. So it could."

POPSFacebook Buys FriendFeed This is a bad deal! I have accounts on Facebook, FriendFeed and Twitter. On a scale of 1-10, I rate them 8, 5, and 2, respectively. I don't want lowly '2' buying average '5' so it can wipe out the very useful '8'. Bummer!

POPSWhy good teachers quit (hint: it's not just "burnout") This is a point I've made over and over again -- we live in a society that does not value education, period. We might pay lip service to the work teachers do, but at the same time, Americans tend to look down on teaching as a profession for "nice" people without a lot of ambition. They're not respected by students, by parents, by school administrators, or by the culture at large, and teachers are frequently used as convenient scapegoats for a whole range of societal failures. No wonder good people decide not to stay.

POPSGolan Levin and Collaborators Just had this thought, watching Golan levin's art, that our humanity is made of meaning. meaning, we find that which is meaningful in close proximity to us. whether it is an eye on a moving stock. or shapes generated by software, it is NOT not like us. I find this thought worth further development.
