POPSTaliban severs ties with al Qaeda - seeks peace No matter how CNN spins this - we have slaughtered the Taliban until their forces and leadership are depleted, and they have lost the will to fight. This is what is known as victory. It is the same sort of victory we are experiencing in Iraq. The democrats and the mainstream media are so unfamiliar with the concept of "victory" they can't recognize it. It is the kind of victory liberal democrats would never achieve, because it takes courage, foresight, and patient fortitude - - all qualities they lack. I believe only President Bush was capable of taking the war to the enemy, and seeing it through. History will be very good to him.

POPSThe Jante Law You think I don't know anything about you? You think I don't have something on you ? .. is a more accurate interpretation. :) It has to be said that the general understanding of the law was an essential and fully integrated part of the Danish and Norwegian societies long before it was ever written down. The rules are not only applied outwards; Danes apply the rules equally towards themselves. This means that the rules of the Jante Law become a sort of social stabilizer where one does not wish to be either too high above or too far below others socially and economically. Janters who transgress this unwritten "law" are regarded with suspicion and some hostility, as it goes against communal desire, which is to preserve social stability and uniformity.

POPSParents arrested after hospital standoff over baby The Canadian government has no jurisdiction over Moorish-Americans, the religious leader argued, adding the baby should not have been seized by the Children's Aid Society. "It basically infringes on his nationality," he said. For decades, the U.S.-based Nation of Moorish-Americans has espoused that, thanks to a historic treaty, millions of black Americans are actually a divine and sovereign people, and also citizens of Morocco. The Canadian chapter led by Mr. Sut Tekh El is relatively new, but he said he has about 30 members.

POPSDefining “Victory” In Iraq Part of the problem here is that the war in Iraq is usually thought of as a single war in Iraq. But there have been at least three wars in Iraq since 2003 – the U.S.-led war against Saddam Hussein’s Baath Party regime, the civil war between Sunni and Shia militias, and the insurgencies against government and international forces waged by a constellation of guerrilla and terrorist groups. All three wars are distinct from each other, and two of the three are already over. The war against Saddam Hussein and his government ended when the regime was overthrown and what remained of its army was disbanded. You might say it didn’t officially end until he was captured in December of 2003, but he effectively lost when he was demoted from absolute dictator to fugitive. No matter what else might happen, Saddam Hussein will never be considered victorious.

POPSB Hussein Obama's Communist Roots Most of this article comes from Obama's own book. Can any loyal American , once they know the truth about Obama's background, believe he can be trusted to be President?

POPSHave you heard, Bin Laden is Dead. Someone, from thethinkingblue channel messaged that Osama has been dead since 2007: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWcw2OEyhXI Youtube member message: "Osama Bin Laden was murdered in December/2007 by Omar Sheikh. and of course Bush should be elated about that but why should he care, his lies covered his ass..." I asked myself: What? Bin Laden Dead? This is news to me... The usual He's Dead, He's Alive, chatter is all over the Internet. There is even an account that he has been dead since 2001. http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/osama_dead.html But you hear not a peep on TV. I think if he were truly pushing up daisies or whatever dead people do in other countries; there would be more commotion about it, maybe NOT. The symbolic nature of his being alive would be of benefit for the so-called war-on-terror pundits and also for the Al Qaeda type terrorist groups... And they say you can't beat a dead horse! ... :-?

POPSPittsburgh number 1 in nation for dirty air
When I first came to Pittsburgh many years ago on a business trip I immediately did not like the area. My initial thought was WOW this city is dirty. It looked dirty. From the rusty bridges to the dirty streets and the dilapidated housing the whole area surrounding the city just looked dirty. Well now many years later we get this report that well says PITTSBURGH is dirty. I have lived in Western Pennsylvania for almost 10 years now. Perhaps this report explains my increased allegy problems since moving out here. I guess it is time to move again. In regards to the report one news person said that Pittsburgh has not gotten dirtier LA just got cleaner. Isn't that nice? Why doesn't Pittsburgh get cleaner? Why not work on it a bit? Concerning the coke plant in the valley. OKAY why build a plant that pollutes in a valley where the air gets trapped? Years ago Pittsburgh was the steel capital of the world and yes it was dirtier then. But there is more Pittsburgh can do to improve.

POPSMurtha: No time for vets, calls cops on vet's mom I am angry that this man, who accuses our military of using excessive force, sent 3 Police Cars and 7 Officers to intimidate me. Had me chased down like a fugitive! I know one thing for certain: John Murtha does not respect our Soldiers and he sure doesn’t respect their mothers. You are shameful John Murtha. ...asked why they called the cops and they said she was “disruptive to the office”... ...asked when they called the police, they stated that they had called after she had left. Bev is the mother of Sgt. John P. White, 82nd Airborne, Bronze Star Recipient, on his 4th deployment.

POPSObama, The Secret Six, and Black Liberation Theology--Civil War Continues Obama has come under closer scrutiny due to his close association with, and membership in the church of, his pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright who teaches what is being exposed as radical Black Liberation Theology, which under pretense of religion, advocates revolutionary agenda that has its roots in the abolitionist terrorist John Brown and the (much unknown) Secret Six who started "red republicanism", which fomented the so-called Civil War. People should read more about this and they will see that Jeremiah Wright, and even the lesser radicalism of Obama (or is it less?) is part of the same agenda of continued social revolution, violent or by lesser means of coercion. A black theologian at Covenant Theological Seminary has written articles, and been on TV, showing the Marxist Roots of Black Liberation Theology .

POPSJudicial Watch Scrutinizing Clinton White House Pardon Fitton says the Rich pardon was particularly scandalous because of "copious" financial contributions made by Denise Rich, Marc Rich's ex-wife, to Hillary Clinton's Senate campaign and the Clinton Presidential Library foundation in the months leading up to the pardon. According to Fitton, the scandal is still relevant today in light of Mrs. Clinton's current run for the White House because the pardons are part of the experience which she widely touts in terms of her days at the White House. "The pardon scandal involved the entire Clinton family -- Bill, Hillary, Hillary's brothers, Bill's brother. Hillary herself was involved in the scandals, conveying pardon applications to Bill Clinton," Fitton contends.
