POPSApple iUnbrick? According to this post from Ars Technica (via Slashdot), the new 1.1.3 firmware has unbricked a couple of phones in testing. Personally I think the unresponsivness of Apple on the bricked iPhone issue is inexcusable. Alienating enthusiastic customers who help you sell your product is a really stupid move. Has Apple learned something from this experience? I doubt it, but only time will tell. Microsoft has done dumb things like this as well and they've learned some things, but ignore some other lessons. In the end, I think it really comes to corporate greed, and engineers thinking they know what customers want better than the customers themselves.
