POPSThe Abomination that causes destruction? Fornication is condemned in the bible along with homosexuality. If the PCUSA is no longer going to stand for biblical principles then they no longer need to be supported by members who do not support such iniquity. It is time for someone to take a whip to the houses of prostitution being set up in the once reformed church house. Jdg 2:11 (GW) The people of Israel did what the Lord considered evil. They began to serve other gods—the Baals. 12 The Israelites abandoned the Lord God of their ancestors, the God who brought them out of Egypt. They followed the other gods of the people around them. They worshiped these gods, and that made the Lord angry. 13 They abandoned the Lord to serve the god Baal and the goddess Astarte. 14 So the Lord became angry with the people of Israel. He handed them over to people who robbed them. He also used their enemies around them to defeat them. They could no longer stand up against their enemies.

POPSThe Mythic History of the Werewolf As usual I tend to gravitate my clipping towards the strange, unusual, or just highly weird. The Graeco-Roman myths have always been a favorite of mine but there were some facts here I did not even know of. The ways of becoming a werewolf, yes... but that at least TWO of the most important gods of the ancient Greeks were worshiped as Wolf-Gods was new to me.

POPSJune 20, 2008: Summer Solstice (Northern Hemisphere) Summer Solstice Fun Facts * Pagans called the Midsummer moon the "Honey Moon" for the mead made from fermented honey that was part of wedding ceremonies performed at the Summer Solstice. * Ancient Pagans celebrated Midsummer with bonfires, when couples would leap through the flames, believing their crops would grow as high as the couples were able to jump. * Midsummer was thought to be a time of magic, when evil spirits were said to appear. To thwart them, Pagans often wore protective garlands of herbs and flowers. One of the most powerful of them was a plant called 'chase-devil', which is known today as St. John's Wort and still used by modern herbalists as a mood stabilizer. Celebrated in the Southern Hemisphere on: December 21, 2008 at 10:04pm AEST.

POPS" "one is never really angry, about what they think they are" I have found in my life's experience that when I am angry, #1. it is always a bi-product of some deeper emotion, usually sadness, hurt feelings, or some other feeling in which touches our egos, in such a way that it almost hurts to acknowledge them. I have also found that the things that really inflame me/enrage me, always have history, if I just take the time to reflect, the outcome is so much more self-empowering. The reason that these small moments can be so powerful for me, is because I have chosen the path of least resistence, and self-knowledge, as well as acceptance of the smashing of my ego, it can be a hard pill to swallow, but it is the only path for me, I don't know may be it comes from having a self-perpetuated hard life, and getting older, THANK GODDESS for getting OLDER !

POPSSpirituality the adventure in seeking I have studied many religions, and do not belong to any. I have indeed found tremendous spirituality though. I am open I take what I hear, and if it feels right, if it resonates within my soul then I am inclined to adopt my own version of that train of thinking, I am one of Goddess faith, Mother nature, but I also have faith in say, Christ, whom I feel was a wonderful, loving example of a man I would love to be able to emenate in many ways, but that is perfection, from what I understand, and that ,( since I am human) is impossible. So I say go with your inner voice, your intuitive voice, that calls you, that guides you, if one follows this, I don't think you can fail, as a matter of fact you can't fail. Look at all the beauty around you, the mystery, the miracle of life, the feelings of joy, sadness, the whole human experience, there is something out there( defentley) bigger than us loving, mysterious, and all omnipresent.
