POPSThis Day In Israel, 1967 The Six-Day War Began Seven months later, at a dinner at the LBJ Ranch in Texas, President Lyndon B. Johnson toasted Israeli Prime Minister Eshkol, saying: "That is our intention in the Middle East and throughout our world. To pursue peace. To find peace. To keep peace forever among men. If we are wise, if we are fortunate, if we work together-perhaps our Nation and all nations may know the joys of that promise God once made about the children of Israel: 'I will make a covenant of peace with them...it shall be an everlasting covenant.'"

POPSEvangelical Christians Falsely Claiming to be Former Muslim Terrorists
2 Peter 2:1-3 But FALSE prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be FALSE teachers AMONG YOU, who will secretly introduce DESTRUCTIVE heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. 2 Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; 3 and in their GREED they will exploit you with FALSE WORDS; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep. 2 Peter 2:1-2 But there were also lying prophets among the people then, just as there will be lying religious teachers among you. They'll smuggle in destructive divisions, pitting you against each other — biting the hand of the One who gave them a chance to have their lives back! They've put themselves on a fast downhill slide to destruction, 2 but not before they recruit a crowd of mixed-up followers who can't tell right from wrong. POPS Senior Saudi Prince Offers Israel "Peace Vision" He said Israel could expect some benefits on the way to signing a treaty and making a full withdrawal, noting that after the 1993 Oslo interim accords with the Palestine Liberation Organisation, regional cooperation had begun and the Jewish state had achieved representation in several Arab states. Israel was wary of the Arab League plan partly because it would entail handing back the Syrian Golan Heights captured in the 1967 Middle East war, as well as re-dividing Jerusalem, of which Israel annexed the captured Arab eastern part in 1967.

POPSNew Bomb Tactic - Horses and Dogs Used Actually no - the world would condemn the use of horses and dogs as bomb carriers. But children? Not an issue. After all the Religion of Peace (TM) has lots of them. A few in bits and pieces won't make any difference.

POPSMuseum Expansion Expected Going to meet with people who won't even shake your hand? Israel is nuts to even attend this State Department sponsored idiocy.

POPSWhat a disaster: Saudis calling the shots at the Annapolis peace conference As previously noted, this is a disaster for Israel...it is no wonder the inhabitants of Jewish communities in western Negev do not have much hope for a positive outcome, since more than 110 Kassam rockets and mortars have been leveled at them from gaza. Thousands Katyusha rockets are ready for launching...while the diplomats hold hands with the Saudis.

POPSAssessment of WAR. Detailed
"The stories emerging from the less-gagged American media suggest two scenarios. The first is that Israel targeted Iranian supplies passing through Syria on their way to Hezbollah; the second that Israel struck at a fledgling Syrian nuclear plant where materials from North Korea were being offloaded, possibly as part of a joint nuclear effort by Damascus and Tehran. "The nuclear claims against Damascus were discounted so quickly by experts of the region that Washington was soon downgrading the accusation to claims that Syria was only hiding the material on North Korea's behalf. But why would Syria, already hounded by Israel and the US, provide such a ready-made pretext for still harsher treatment? Why, equally, would North Korea undermine its hard-won disarmament deal with the US? And why, if Syria were covertly engaging in nuclear mischief, did it alert the world to the fact by revealing the Israeli air strike? "The other justification was based in a more credible reality:"

POPSIsrael admits air strike on Syria I believe I have the answer. Only recently Russia sold a new missile defence system to Iran and Syria. If the U.S. is going to invade Iran, they need to identify the capabilities of this new missile system. It is easier to strike Syria and build up a picture of what they are facing, this is good military sense. But bad news for the world if it is true. The U.S. military always softens up it's target with air strikes, I believe around or after Christmas it is going to kick off.

POPSWould Israel exist without the USA?!!!
Israel has been given more than $140 billion in US direct economic and military assistance. It receives about $3 billion in direct assistance annually, roughly 1/5 of US foreign aid budget. Although most US foreign aid packages stipulate that related military purchases have to be made in the US, Israel is allowed to use about 25% of the money to subsidize its own growing and profitable defense industry. It is exempt, unlike other nations, from accounting for how it spends the aid money. And funds are routinely siphoned off to build new settlements, bolster the Israeli occupation in the Palestinian territories and construct the security barrier, which costs an estimated $1 million a mile. The barrier weaves its way through the West Bank, creating isolated ringed ghettos. It will probably in effect seize up to 40%t of Palestinian land. This is the largest land grab by Israel since the 1967 war. The US officially opposes settlement expansion and the barrier, it also funds them.

POPSIsrael offers the Golan Heights to Syria This isn't going to happen for a lot of reasons. Syria would never rid itself of those organizations. (willingly, that is) And the Golan is a very strategic necessity for Israel. Plus, what did Israel receive for giving back the Gaza?
