POPSThe buck doesn't stop here; it just keeps falling Brought to you by our friends at the federal reserve. Imagine that "nutjob" republican who during the debates said he wanted to abolish the federal reserve, stop printing fiat money, and return the US to a sound monetary policy, what a kook, huh! Of course those words were greeted with laughter from McCain, Guiliani, and others! Now I see why...

POPS"Thank God for John McCain" Now that I have gained my bearing back I feel that the least the oil companies could do is put a little bit of money back in our pockets. The following proposals are a few ideas I have come up with. A modest 80% tax on all oil pumped out of Iraq to be paid back to the American taxpayer for our continued support. Establishment of $1 million dollar trust funds for all families of soldiers killed in Iraq. A guaranteed donation each year of all profits in Iraq to the Department of Veterans Affairs to cover PTSD and war related illness. Feel free to add your own proposal.

POPSHe Said He's Still Heading To California Tomorrow — "I've got my ticket!" But at the Orange County Republican dinner Saturday night, Rudy made a telling quip: "People pay a lot of money to spend the month of Florida in January." When the political science classes ponder the remarkable collapse of the Giuliani '08 campaign, they might come to think of it as a $40 million Florida vacation.

POPSFear Factor: American Gov't Edition *explicit language I don't have beef with corporate media because Ron Paul doesn't get enough coverage, I am upset with corporate media because Ron Paul doesn't get ANY coverage, and gets banned from the major debates even though he's beaten two "front-runners" (Guiliani and Thompson) multiple times. It goes way beyond coincidence and off the cliff into Lake Conspiracy and then sinks to the bottom of the Collusionus Trench. Thoughts?

POPSChristian-right to form third party if Guiliani nominated? I suppose this would be a boon to the Democrates? A similar occurance happened in Canada when the wackier elements of the PC party broke off to create the Reform Party, giving Liberals rule of Canada for almost two decades. But then Canada has many splinter parties dividing up the votes in weird ways including the NDP (left), Bloc Quebecois (intent on actually breaking up the country), Greens (growing in support), as well as the much missed Rhinoceros Party of Canada .

POPSGiuliani's Heroic Shine is Going to Pale Very Soon My bet is that Mr. Giuliani's 9/11/ hero status is going to go down very quickly in the rest of the county once the full details of his mismanagement of the entire crisis is exposed. He has been shamelessly taking bows and blowing kisses to the crowds as SuperMayor, but when the facts are actually known, he will sink like a stone. He ran New York City like a fascist dictator during his 8 years in office, and was reviled by most New Yorkers for the way he treated minorities and allowed the police to have a free hand even when abuse was alleged and then proven. He actually excused acts of brutality in the name of law and order. My friend, before you consider voting for Mr. Giuliani, please learn as much as you can about him. You might change your mind.

POPSKeith Olbermann calls out Rudy Guiliani This is one of the most powerful, passionate statements by a tv media figure that i've ever seen. Personally, i think Giulliani is a fraud. I lived in new york city during 9/11. And there is no doubt that Giulliani did a fine job maintaining calm. And i totally respected him for it. But i have not only lost that respect, i now completely disrespect him because he is so happy and proud to flaunt his leadership role that day.
