POPSBrian Jones Murdered? cont: Soon after, Lawson saw Thorogood shaking badly as he reentered the house, and then she found Jones in the pool. Thorogood was also the central suspect in a pair of 1994 books about Jones’ death. In Who Killed Christopher Robin?, Terry Rawlings writes that Thorogood took responsibility for killing Jones on his death bed in 1993, telling Rolling Stones’ driver Tom Keylock, “It was me that did Brian. I just finally snapped.” Keylock died last month. Why the police will reexamine the case now following Lawson’s statements as opposed to Thorogood’s statements from his death bed remain unclear. He and the band were wonderful, what a great time! POPSAerosmith cancels rest of tour The accident happened August 5 during a concert at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in western South Dakota. Tyler was dancing during "Love in an Elevator" when he fell. He was airlifted to a local hospital for initial treatment before returning to Boston, Massachusetts, for treatment with his own doctors.

"Aerosmith will not perform their Friday, Aug. 7 show at the Canad Inns Stadium in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, based on injuries lead singer Steven Tyler sustained when he fell from the stage at Wednesday's show at Buffalo Chip Campgrounds in Sturgis, S.D.," the statement said. "Additional details will be issued when they are available."

POPSWhat Does It Take to Become a Good Musician?
Written from the perspective of a guitarist but applicable to all. I know that half of what musicians become, is because of the time they spend with a guitar in their hands, in their mind. It is almost the same as really practicing, imagining the guitar in your hands, playing this and that. The older I become, the more I realize it. I have been playing long enough that there is very little difference between practicing and visualizing and I have come to the conclusion, that this time visualizing, is a major part of the equation. That is why love is the key. If you didn't love the guitar, how could you think about it all the time? In the book, "This is your Brain on Music," Daniel J. Levitin comes to the conclusion that to be good it takes about ten-thousand hours on your instrument (that equals about 3 hours a day for 10 years). But I will add that a lot of these hours can and have to be knocked off in your head. I'm not that sure that your brain knows the difference.
