POPSThe big bounce vs Big Bang Edwin Hubble and Stephen Hawking, and the discovery of Cosmic background radiation amongst other contributers drafted the Big Bang Theory, but Each knew it was a theory, and destined to be qualified significantly as our our technology and depth of understanding progresses. Big bang is a Theory, not a conclusion. Ask Stephen Hawking to consider any new theories, and evidence, and he would be delighted to consider the evidence. He's a scientist, and a Mathematician, who knows how limited our theories can be with what we know. He is looking for what happened, not what may have happened,.

POPSMore Evidence of Sanctified Civil Liberty Violations
Border Agents are now allowed to search you and your car and belongings without evidence or suspicion of wrong doing. They can make copies of anything you have in your possession including laptops, cell phones, personal papers, diaries, date books, etc. What they do with this information ends up on government databases to be added to your very own file which, of course, you cannot access but every law enforcement agency across the country can, with or without a valid reason. If citizens were not aware that there are unethical individuals in law enforcement and scattered throughout the government who can access these files, and if we did not know that files get ‘lost’, and if we were not aware that computer files get hacked into, why would we worry? But these things have all become reality and pervasive. First Amendment rights are one of the last protections we Americans have against this government becoming a Fascist state. And since George W Bush was first elected, his gan

POPS*PWNED* Sarah Palin's Yahoo Email Hacked ~Insider Secrets~ I found out later though more research that they met at high school, so I did variations of that, high, high school, eventually hit on "Wasilla high" I promptly changed the password to popcorn and took a cold shower… ----------------------------------------------- The lesson is not to use any guessable or publicly available information in your security settings -- especially if you are famous. Pick something obscure, or lie. It doesn't have to be true: you just have to be able to remember it.

POPSHacking is Easy, Fun, But Unfortunately Still Wrong Now I don't like Palin but this doesn't mean that I agree with what this guy did. I would be pissed if someone hacked into my email. Poor guy it wasn't even worth it, he didn't even find anything incriminating....cool how he easy it was though....but yes still wrong.

POPSSoftware for Politics "'Anonymous,' best known for its jousts with Scientology, has apparently hacked Sarah Palin's private Yahoo email account. Contents, including sample emails, an index, and family photos, have been posted by Wikileaks, which calls them evidence that the GOP vice presidential candidate has improperly used private email to shield government business from public scrutiny." Note that there is no easy way to tell if the material on Wikileaks is genuine or a hoax. Update by J : Genuine. privacy, politics, usa, slashdotted, haha (tagging beta)

POPS" - Sarah Palin's Deadly Wolf Program" "In early 2007, Palin's administration approved an initiative to pay a $150 bounty to hunters who killed a wolf from an airplane in certain areas, hacked off the left foreleg, and brought in the appendage. Ruling that the Palin administration didn't have the authority to offer payments, a state judge quickly put a halt to them but not to the shooting of wolves from aircraft."

POPS"1984" George Orwell Knew Google/You Tube Another attempt to usurp our privacy rights. Viacom claims copyrights. I'm all for the American dream. I am also for the right of individuals privacy, part of that same American dream. Viacoms fight to win access to the personal data from You Tube goes too far. Better for them to to use the technology to create filters, blocks, screens that will keep their info from being hacked than from having access to personal information. If they can't keep safe their own content what makes anyone think they can protect the content they are wanting to have the freedom to acquire? If you have any doubts about what is going on just reread George Orwell's 1984 novel. For the last few years in the name of security our rights have been slowly but surely diminished. We live in a global community. It's time for everyone to realize that and treat each other with the same accord, respect we share with those closest to us.

POPSIf You Use an Electronic Toll Pay System, READ THIS Great article about the use of EZPass, FastTrak, or any other system you use to electronically pay road/bridge tolls when you go through the toll both. Apparently they can easily be hacked and your account compromised. Best bet they say is to keep it in the Mylar pouch it comes in, but most people I've seen have it stuck to their windshield permanently. If that's you, apparently there's also a device you can buy that deactivates it and prevents access to information until you flip the switch. Read the article for more details.
