POPSNO Filming or NO Fly. Isn't the plane property of JetBlue thus making it private property? I record a lot of videos too so I feel for gramma but she has to realize that her age and whether or not she said she planned to use it for personal reasons do not matter. If they don't want people filming on/in their property and any altercations that occur therein then they have every right to inform her. It shouldn't matter if you're 56 or 16 - they will enforce it. Not to sound like a total jerk but how many would be saying "Oh the poor thing!" if this tale were about a 16 year old boy? Yeah, it was a bit terse the way they handled it and they could have been a little nicer overall, there was no need of the accusations and attitude, but still - its their right. We pay for the privilege of the service, using their machine for personal transport, we do not have an inherent right to fly and to disregard the rules of public vs. private property.

POPSDrug Arrests Were Real; the Badge Was Fake Funny, amazing story. Yea, I know there's a down side to vigilante justice, though this vigilante didn't lynch or even physically harm anyone. Got to admire his spirit, if not his means. Apparently he was quite effective while it lasted.

POPS7 busted after cheers erupt at S.C. graduations Question: In what country can you be arrested for celebrating one of the greatest joys in your family life? In what country is cheering a crime punishable by being jailed? Nope, not China. And not even Afghanistan. It's the Good Ol' US of A. I now live in a country where we will jail your ass for anything at all. Please somebody tell me how any reasonable human being could see cheering at your child's graduation as a punishable crime? Oh wait, you can't because there is no such reality … ergo these humans have become so irrational it's as if they live in a reality apart from our own, a free-floating island of selfish fascism bumping violently into our own.

POPSIsrael the Torture Specialist The evil society does not even hide the fact that they regularly and systematically torture Palestinians. They assert that its their right and defy anyone in the cowardly Western world to speak publicly against it. In the Zionist warped way of thinking, the ONLY - and I repeat the ONLY reason anyone would have the gall to criticize or condemn the dirty deeds of Israel is because they're full of hatred (implying of course that Israelis are full of love). It is the sickest logic on the planet.

POPSParis Olympic Torch Relay Is Cut Short Thousands of police sent on to the streets to protect the torch relay as it made its way around the city were unable to prevent demonstrators hijacking the event. It meant the torch had to be repeatedly put out amid safety fears. The event began with several hundred people waving banners gathering on the Trocadero esplanade where the relay started. Several activists were later arrested, with some handcuffing themselves to the Eiffel Tower. Sky News Europe correspondent Greg Milam said extinguishing the flame was significant because the torch was supposed to be kept alight on its journey around the world. POPSProbe: Bear Stearns And Criminal Wrongdoing?
Had Bear Stearns been allowed to collapse, it would have set off a domino effect that could have taken down major commercial banks as well as other investment banks and brokerages. Fed Chairman Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Paulson quickly set into motion a plan to prevent disaster. Invoking a rarely used 1932 Amendment to the Federal Reserve Act, The Federal Reserve set up a special fund with $200 billion that can be used by major banks to shore up their capital position so that a) they won't fail altogether and b) they can continue to loan multiplied billions to clients world-wide. In essence, the Fed becomes the lender of last resort, and the Treasury guarantees payoff even in the case of default. But, Bear Stearns is NOT a bank and NOT a member of the privately-owned Federal Reserve. And since the Fed can only lend cash directly to member banks, it channeled funds through surrogate JPMorgan Chase, to purchase Bear Stearns and guarantee its continued operation.

POPSExclusive: Strip search of woman by Sheriff's Deputies called outrageous Greg Steffey said his wife is still traumatized. But the couple wants the story told to prevent it from happening to someone else. "This could be your wife or anyone's wife," Greg Steffey said. He said he still can't believe this happened to Hope, a 125-pound woman who, earlier that night, turned to police for help. "You don't treat people like this," Greg Steffey said. "I don't think murderers are treated like this much less people charged with disorderly conduct."

POPSCoffee, Tea, or Should We Feel Your Pregnant Wife’s Breasts Of course when I say she "told me later," it’s because she wasn’t able to tell me at the time, because as soon as I demanded to know what the federal employee had done to make her cry, I was swarmed by Portland police officers. Instantly. Three of them, cinching my arms, locking me in handcuffs, and telling me I was under arrest. Now

POPS Teenager arrested in suicide hijacking plot
Bolds said he had no information on whether the concert may have been a targeted as part of the plot. In the teen's possession were handcuffs, duct tape and a type of rope or yarn, according to the FBI. "His plan contemplated overpowering the flight crew," Bolds said. The teen is being held on unspecified state charges and could face federal charges as well, Bolds said. CNN affiliate WTVF reported the teen has been charged with felony terrorism and is being held at the Davidson County juvenile detention center. "It is my understanding that at no point in time during the course of the flight there was ever any safety concern," Southwest Airlines spokesman Chris Mainz said. Bolds also said nothing threatening occurred on the flight from California to Nashville. It was not immediately clear how police become aware of the teen's presence on the flight or his alleged suicide plans. "Hannah Montana" is a hit Disney Channel show -- which stars 14-year-old Miley Cyrus and her c

POPSGiuliani is a Vengeful Sick Bastard This fascinating piece in the New York Times is a definite must read. I was only able to clip a part of one major incident demonstrating the sick and vicious mind of Rudy Giuliani. I urge you to read the entire piece, and then, for those believers out there, get on your knees and thank your Lord for toppling his campaign, which seems extremely likely to happen, before he became our president. Giuliani would make Bush seem like a Mount Rushmore candidate.
