POPSDems place their faith in Mike Huckabee I'm particularly amused by the fact that he wants to make all pornography illegal - but is absolutely opposed to the slightest sanction against hate speech. For a person of the slightest intellectual capacity, that level of cognitive dissonance could cause serious damage.

POPSImprove your Self Confidance in 15 Minutes Some would call it positive thinking, some would say it is a form of self hypnosis, but it seems to be the kind of thing that can remove unfounded doubt. Imagining you were confident, and what it would be like. There is also the aim of focusing on what is to be done, rather than looking for reasons not to do things, when we can focus on what we can do. I've clipped the titles, but there is more detail on the page. There is always the big question, when these kinds of methods are suggested. What could we do if we had the confidence? Self confidence can improve, through the recognition of it's improvement, but we have to try it out, and be prepared for a few lumps on the way, when we find out we've been overconfident.

POPSHillary on Rove Obession When Hillary "vast right wing conspiracy" speaks on obsession, one ought to listen well. It seems that at least she has succeeded in making sure that her husband isn't obsessed with her, so maybe she will be able to have some success with Rove as well. It always seems clear that at least for Hillary it is indeed always all about Hillary. Interesting how given the NYT, Washington Post, NPR, CBS, CNN, MSNBC ... and a cast of 100's, poor Hillary laments the "attack machine". Oh, that is right, to agree with Hillary is to be "factual", to disagree with her is to be part of "conspiracy" and "attack machines". Just the kind of level headed ration view of the world that many will find as a big improvement in leadership.
