POPSUN Cracks Down on Criticism of Islam I guess they can now just refer to Islam as 'the elephant in the room' when discussing terrorism, genital mutilation, child abuse/rape, mass oppression, beheadings, and slavery. Why are my tax dollars being constantly given to this international joke organization of crooks?

POPSUS General Accuses Bush Admin of War Crimes 2-Star Army General indicts about Abu Ghraib that the White House "authorized" it: the Commander-in-Chief and those under him authorized a systematic regime of torture. Alot of things have come down on the Bush administration in the last month, i.e. McClellan's book, Bugliosi's book, now this.

POPSExams reveal abuse, torture of detainees
"There is no longer any doubt that the current administration committed war crimes," Taguba says. "The only question is whether those who ordered torture will be held to account." Over the years, reports of abuses at Abu Ghraib and allegations of torture at Guantanamo prompted the Bush administration to deny that the U.S. military tortures detainees. Since only 11 detainees were examined "the findings of this assessment cannot be generalized to the treatment of all detainees in U.S. custody," the report says. However, the incidents documented are consistent with findings of other investigations into government treatment, "making it reasonable to conclude that these detainees were not the only ones abused, but are representative of a much larger number of detainees subjected to torture and ill treatment while in U.S. custody." Four of the men evaluated were arrested in or taken to Afghanistan between late 2001 and early 2003 and later were sent to Guantanamo Bay, .........

POPSPower and the relation between these two aricles More power to the leader of the US or could we do better without that institution? Parliamentary democracy seems to be more democratic when one looks at this administration. Way too much abuse of power. GITMO, surveillance, the list just goes on and on

POPSCiting Iraq War, Renowned Attorney Vincent Bugliosi Seeks “The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Mur He is the criminal of criminals in the world. There simply does not exist in the entire world a more supreme criminal than George W. Bush and each and everyone of his goon squad - starting with Condoleezza Rice. All should remember this when weighing all other crime or alleged crime we see in the media. Criminal No. 1 in the entire world is George W. Bush. I say this especially for all those counterfeit political leaders who huff and puff and blow a gasket over some human rights abuse or anti-democracy accusation, yet on the subject of George Bush's criminality, not only are they silent, but going even a step further, are accommodating. I simply don't want to hear anyone's sob story unless they are ready to acknowledge the extent of criminality of George W. Bush.

POPSU.N. Workers Raping, Abusing Children The liberal's respected world body, the one they feel should run all world affairs, engages in child rape and abuse. This is the organization that seats countries like Libya on it's human rights committee, and is powerless to take any meaningful action on anything meaningful. Bill Clinton would have been a perfect match for a U.N. aid worker, except it would require some work.

POPSThe Ethics of Israel: Child Prisoners Tortured I mean folks, how low can a society go? In the entire world, there is nothing lower than Israel and its joined-at-the-hip guard dog, the USA. You simply cannot go much lower than this for an entity that calls itself a nation. Nor do Israel or its Zionist supporters hang their heads in shame because they simply have no shame whatsoever. In fact, they are proud of their hideous record.

POPSSchool Military Recruiting Could Violate International Protocol
THIS HORRIBLE PRACTICE BY THE MILITARY HAS GOT TO STOP--OUR CHILDREN ARE NOT CANNON FODDER FOR STUPID OLD MEN'S WARS!! the U.S. armed services “regularly target children under 17 for military recruitment, heavily recruiting on high school campuses, in school lunchrooms, and in classes.” “The United States military’s procedures for recruiting students plainly violate internationally accepted standards and fail to protect youth from abusive and aggressive recruitment tactics,” said Jennifer Turner of the ACLU Human Rights Project. The increased aggressiveness of military recruiters is due in major part, according to the report, to the increased pressure to meet enlistment quotas caused by ongoing U.S. military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan to which nearly 200,000 soldiers and marines are currently deployed. The pressure created by current military commitments has not only translated into enhanced recruitment efforts among children under 18. The armed forces have also lower

POPSOldies Remember: One Man's Sacrifice of Fame. I know I'd never have had the 'balls'. If he had known how badly America would treat him subsequently, I doubt if he would done it so blatantly either. What sacrifice! Yes, with time America forgave. Just like it forgave THE elite sportsman of the 20th century, ALI. He too had to suffer first for his colour. Must they first become the heroes of the World before being heroes in America? "Back home he were subject to abuse and he and his families received death threats. Smith continued in athletics, going on to play American football with the Cincinnati Bengals, before becoming an assistant professor of Physical Education at Oberlin College. In 1995 he went on to help coach the US team at the World Indoor Championships at Barcelona. In 1999 he was awarded a Sportsman of the Millennium award. He is now a public speaker. ... Wikipedia

POPS“The End of Tibet” Is Starting To Look More Prescient The point of this is that it’s not just one year. This has been building under the surface for a long time. It shouldn’t be surprising. That’s the point I tried to make in the piece. It’s been simmering for so long, that it only takes a minor spark — like a scuffle between monks and Chinese police — for the whole thing to go up. Repression in Tibet has been severe for a long time. I don’t think it’s been that much worse this past year, but the Olympics has given the Chinese ample opportunity for more.

POPSThe battle for free speech rages in Canada Article: "Free Dominion was served with a human rights complaint last summer which was later dropped. Currently, we are in the midst of one defamation suit initiated by Richard Warman, and we have been served notice of another suit by Warman, as well as notice of a joint suit by Warman and Warren Kinsella. Ezra Levant is fighting a human rights complaint before the Alberta Human Rights Commission, and he has been served with notice of a defamation suit from Richard Warman. Mark Steyn is fighting several human rights complaints, and he is suffering almost daily abuse on Warren Kinsella’s blog. The most vocal writers who have been fighting the human rights commissions have been threatened with lawsuits and worse. Blogger Mike Brock even received an email that read, “I hope that type of sentiment comforts you the day you find yourself staring down the barrel of a 12 gauge shotgun, Mike.”

POPSOscars Tainted with Conflict Diamonds by Zionist Mogul. "Oxfam stated publicly that Leviev had never been an Oxfam donor, nor would they accept donations from any individual who constructs settlements in occupied territory in contravention of international humanitarian law. Twenty days after Adalah-NY raised the issue, an article which claimed that Leviev donated to Oxfam was finally removed from the news site belonging to an organization of which Leviev is the president."

POPSDon't Say "It Couldn't Happen Here". At least one presidential candidate has publicly advocated policies which parallel this situation. Reading things like this reminds me of the famous "First they came..." statement attributed to Martin Niemöller. It's also a good time to keep in mind that the rights of the least among us, the rights of people we disagree with or even hate, are our rights too, and that when someone on the fringe loses out so do we all.

POPS Lion Rides Horse In China Freak Show >>>>>INSANE SADISTIC FREAK SHOW<<<<< Here's yet another form of animal abuse in China - does this country's government have a department dedicated to inventing new and innovative ways of abusing animals?! Skinning cats alive in fur farms, feeding live cattle to lions in one zoo and now making a lion in another zoo (which seems to have had its teeth removed) ride a terrified horse. It defies belief. What's more unbelievable is how the International Olympic Committee can award the Olympics to a country with such an appauling human and animal rights record.
