President Bush and Presidential wannabe Senator McCain are always bragging about how they support the troops and honour their service. Oh yeah! This sounds great, but when it comes to actually doing something good and fair for them when they return from the firing line, they say fuck 'em. No money for their education or other benefits. After all, if we make it too good, they will wanna leave the service rather than remain canon fodder indefinitely. Neither of these political pieces of fecal matter stop to think about how increased and improved GI benefits will bring additional people into the service that will more than make up for those who might leave after three years. All they care about is having enough bodies willing to be shot up in Iraq so they can maintain their illegal and tragic war. These war criminals should hang their heads in shame as should anyone who would consider voting for McCain after seeing what a hypocrite he really and truly is.

POPSAn Embarrassed Canadian/American As an American living in Canada, I am embarrassed by both of my countries for working in such an obstructionist fashion to sabotage the climate change conferences they attend. While it is true the former Liberal government made a lot of promises it did not keep, nor was it able to meet its Kyoto commitments, at least they recognized the problem. Finally, when Stephane Dion was made the minister of the environment, he started to do some marvelous work, but the government fell soon thereafter, not really giving him the time to make a difference and to get his plans in place. All that time, the Conservatives in opposition voted down every environmental bill, and referred to the Kyoto protocol as a "Socialist plot." Of course, now that the Canadian public has caught on to this issue, they are pretending to care while the constantly point to the Liberal's inaction rather than actually taking action to work with other countries to get plans moving. What a shame and a fraud.

If you read my comment, you will see that I am by no means homophobic, but I see this as a smite against the Lord. It would be the same as if a prostitute started ministering the word of the Lord while still practicing illicit sex. The bible states that you can't serve two masters. Also, it is hypocrisy to teach one thing and do another. What homosexuals do behind closed doors is down to them, I can't judge them, it is not my place. However, standing up and declaring G-d's word and ignoring that it is written that it is an abomination in the eyes of the Lord is pure and outright hypocrisy. I certainly wouldn't want to be ministered to by a hypocrite. Somebody in a similar position tried to minister to me, knowing and living with the man who molested their daughter. See What I am getting at, it is not an attack against homosexuals, but it is blasphemous for people who practice illicit sex to stand and give the word of the Lord, unless of course, they have repented.

The real motive behind Lincoln's hypocritical declaration of Thanksgiving (advised by Seward, who was Lincoln's Karl Rove) was, per the above, because "it pleases the fools"--i.e. it was religious propaganda in order to cover up the unlawful, anti-constitutional invasion of the Southern States, the burning of their cities, the rape and pillage of Sherman's army by calling for Thanksgiving. (The parallels between invasion of Iraq and invasion of the South are striking). Lincoln was distrusted by not only the South but many in the North. Christians saw him as a Deist not a Christian as his own words demonstrate. Lincoln, like most of the Presidents, was not a Christian and used religion like a hypocrite for political purposes, not unlike GWB.

You are proving that you care nothing about treating others as you would wish to be treated by them. If you are using arguments that you would claim constitute injustice if others applied them to you, then you must admit that they constitute the same injustice when you use those arguments against them. you know that if the roles were reversed, and you were out here, and somebody was sitting up there insisting that a national motto that said 'We Trust In No God' be posted in all the schools, you would know that he was doing it in order to force his religious views on you and your children. From 1993-2001, Rudy, on numerous occasions, denied the firemens' request for upgraded radios. From this senseless denied action...it was on 9/11, 120 firemen died needlessly because their obsolete radios could not pick up the order to evacuate the North Tower. ZERO policemen died in the North Tower because their radios worked. Rudy then shamelessly LIED before the 9/11 commission by telling them that the firemen died because they ignored evacuation orders! HYPOCRITE AND A LIAR! What bothers me most are his talking points, they are so ape-like, I mean, he went from basically just grunting "9-11" all of the time, then when even the comedy "Family Guy" began to make fun of this, he changed to "Hillary", that's all he's got??
