“We found that the level of CO2 had fluctuated greatly over the period but at any given time increases in air temperature preceded higher concentrations of CO2,” says academician Kapitsa, who worked in Antarctica for many years. Russian studies showed that throughout history, CO2 levels in the air rose 500 to 600 years after the climate warmed up. Therefore, higher concentrations of greenhouse gases registered today are the result, not the cause, of global warming. Critics of the CO2 role in climate change point out that water vapours are a far more potent factor in creating the greenhouse effect as their concentration in the atmosphere is five to 10 times higher than that of CO2. “Even if all CO2 were removed from the earth atmosphere, global climate would not become any cooler,” says solar physicist Vladimir Bashkirtsev. They show no hot spot. Whatsoever. If there is no hot spot then an increased greenhouse effect is not the cause of global warming. 2. Tropical plants found encased in ice..for a reason! These are climate changes that occur naturally; not from *necessarily* anything that human beings do.

POPSChinese Climate Records::100 AD ' Was Warmer Then' The Chinese researchers also looked at modern proxy evidence of past temperatures. * The oxygen isotopes in ice cores yield an annual record of the air temperatures when the ice was laid down. The researchers looked at two ice cores from Tibet. * Trees respond to warmth and rainfall by growing more rapidly, and the Chinese researchers examined two tree ring records from China and one from nearby Japan. * They included analysis of pollen and organic matter in a deep peat bog on the edge of the Tibetan Plateau. * They examined sediment cores from two lake beds in Taiwan. From this evidence, the Chinese researchers concluded China's warmest period during the past 2000 years occurred around 100 AD. This aligns with Roman records of growing wine grapes in Britain during their occupation of that island in the first century--even though Britain was unable to grow wine grapes from 1300 to 1950 because of too-cold temperatures

Basic physics tells us that gases with this property trap heat radiating from the Earth, that the planet would be a lot colder if this effect was not real and that adding more CO2 to the atmosphere will trap even more heat. What is more, CO2 is just one of several greenhouses gases, and greenhouse gases are just one of many factors affecting the climate. There is no reason to expect a perfect correlation between CO2 levels and temperature in the past: if there is a big change in another climate "forcing", the correlation will be obscured. So why has Earth regularly switched between ice ages and warmer interglacial periods in the past million years? It has long been thought that this is due to variations in Earth's orbit. However, the correlation is not perfect and the heating or cooling effect of these orbital variations is small. It has also long been recognised that they cannot fully explain the dramatic temperature switches between ice ages and interglacials.
