POPSPorn stars are the new crossover artists There are also some complaints : "Back in the early days of porn, all the porn had a sense of humor to it, very bawdy, very winky, almost vaudevillian," he says. "It feels to me like the sense of humor has seeped out of porn. Audiences want to go straight to the action." "Asked why adult stars have become more acceptable in Hollywood, Soderbergh cited the proliferation of Internet porn"

POPSYeah. It's Like that. Blogging, of course, is a particularly unrewarding form of solitary vice. What's even worse is that this silly post will be my money shot for the month, because it has "jacking off" and "Porn" in it. I'm just too jaded to take this any further, other than to say that the mindless ejaculations of Palin Supporters DO remind me of the mindless ejaculations of the fans of Hot Wife Porn over on flickr. Except that it seems somehow less degrading to everyone involved.

POPSIntolerance on the Left
If book banning is such a life-and-death issue to these celebrity foot soldiers for free speech, where were they four years ago when John Kerry and his rabid minions were pressuring Regnery Publishing to withdraw Unfit for Command from bookstores? Where were they when members of the Borders Books Employee Union were openly advocating sabotaging book sales? A message on the union’s members-only website urged: You guys don’t actually HAVE to sell the thing! Just “carelessly” hide the boxes, “accidentally” drop them off pallets, “forget” to stock the ones you have, and then suggest a nice Al Franken or Michael Moore book as a substitute . . . I don’t care if these Neandertals (sic) in fancy suits get mad at me, they aren’t regular customers anyway. Other than “Left Behind” books, they don’t read. Anything you can do to make them feel unwelcome is only fair. They are the people pushing retailers to cut costs, don’t forget. And they would censor your speech, your books,

POPSWill the Internet Evolve into a Lifeform? One route is the evolution of electronic intelligences in situations like the internet-arms race between spammers and shielders. It might sound silly, the idea that new life could be created in an attempt to offer you a great deal on C1@Lis!!, but have you tried registering for a forum recently? Even gaining access to the lowest level of interaction online now requires elementary Turing tests to tell the humans from the robots. Another option is the idea of the net itself becoming sentient, a vast self-modifying array of connections and information storage with limited connections to the outside world (kind of like that glob of grey goo you carry around in your skull). If that happens then Gibson help us all - remember that the net is made of about 90% spam, 9% porn, and quite a lot of whining blogs. If that mixture ever becomes self-aware we're not quite sure what it'll do, but the odds are against it being anything good.

POPS40% of Net is Porn I'm not surprised. If I had porn on clipmarks I'd have thousands of followers instead of 8!

POPSCourts Strike Down Net Censorship Both First Amendment and pro-tech groups have been hugely critical of COPA, saying that the law is too broad, and would affect news or informational sites talking about mature issues, not just porn.

POPSWhy is he Being Charged Anyway? Granted this article doesn't give a lot of details, but it sounds like a man in Florida is being tried for offering pornographic material on a website. Why should this be a crime? If someone wants to search for a website that has porn, and view that porn in their own home, and even pay the site owner for the service, why should that be an issue? Too many people in this country have gotten caught up in "moral" and "religious" values. If you want to consider some material offensive and not consume it, no problem at all. Just don't view it. But it's absolutely ridiculous to pass laws banning availability of that material. Now child pornography is one thing, because children aren't old enough to really consent and understand what's happening. But presenting pornographic material with adult models should not be a crime.

POPSOops... Destroyed the Wrong Evidence! I love this one! It made me laugh :) mostly because I think these dolls are menace to the minds of young, impressionable girls... but then again, I was a huge Barbie fan and "those" before me thought the same about her! ANYWAY, I clipped this because I loved the judges comment / question... destroying the very evidence that could have helped your case in court (when you were trying to hide your porn)... priceless!

POPSInternet Censorship Has Begun in the USA I'm no fan of child porn, but I' don't want nanny government to decide what I see online in the privacy of my own home.. As it is, schools and libraries already filter the Net. Why can't parents do the same?

POPSHef wants Cyrus for Playboy Pictorial Like my other post said, how much exposure does one person need? First it was Vanity Fair such an INNOCENT pictorial like so many here seemed to think and next thing you know here comes Hef huffin and puffin trying to blow the door down and get Miley to pose nude for his magazine. Very pretty lady Hef said. Beautiful girls do not have to pose naked for some porn mag. DON'T DO IT MILEY have some self-respect.
