POPSIsrael Will Act to Prevent a Nuclear Iran Iraq would become increasingly destabilized and the existence of the state of Israel will be directly threatened. Consider that, for many years, Iran has made no secret of its dubious long-term intentions. Israel's destruction has long been its fundamental objective. The multi-year international crisis with Iran is nearing its conclusion. Several months from now, Iran will have successfully achieved the capability to produce a nuclear weapon. Sadly, international diplomacy and an ineffective United Nations will not deter Iran from its nuclear ambition. The result is that the world is well on the path to another international military confrontation. Indeed, the ongoing threats from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad appear to leave Israel very little choice. In the next six months, Israel will act to prevent a nuclear Iran.

POPSU.S. refuses Israel weapons to attack Iran: report The result of this difference over weapons will be of little interest if the Jews go nuclear. Good that America says no. ( I thought the Jews were given the Holy Land to look after it, not as a base for wars based on paranoia.)

POPSNext Stop, Iran? Iran's conventional forces include an army of 540,000 men and 300,000 reserves, including 120,000 Iranian Guards especially trained in unconventional warfare. It has more than 1,600 main battle tanks and 21,000 other armored combat vehicles. It has 3,200 artillery pieces, three submarines, 59 surface warships and 10 amphibious ships. It's been receiving help in arming itself from China, North Korea and Russia. Unlike Iraq, Iran's forces have not been worn down with bombing, wars and sanctions. It also has a new anti-aircraft defense system from Russia that I've heard is pretty snazzy. So, if you think we or Israel can attack Iran and not expect retaliation, I'd have to say with regret that you are a moron. If you think we could easily handle Iran in an all-out war, I'd have to promote you to idiot. Attacking Iran would be folly, but we seem to be living in the Age of Folly. (read more at source)

POPSCheeney/Zionist Plan for Nuclear Against Iran! "Of the many American illusions and delusions surrounding this war, the Administration's calculations with respect to Iran were among the most wildly off base. Instead of generating a liberal, secular democracy whose reverberations would drive out Iran's clerical oligarchs, the disastrous Bush policies fostered a sectarian Iraq that has helped empower Iranian hardliners. Rather than serving as an anchor for a new era of stability and American preeminence in the Persian Gulf, the new Iraq represents a strategic black hole, bleeding Washington of military resources and political influence while extending Iran's primacy among its neighbours." ... POPSOlbermann Catches Hillary/Obama in Neocon Talk for New Middle East They both shilled for neocon propaganda, contrary to the most recent National Intel Estimate which says that Iran has been deterred on nukes, and Hillary proposed a middle east "umbrella" (read NATO-like alliance) for military intervention, very similar to McCain's. There is no real choice, in foreign policy, or big spending, in the 3 candidates. WARS will continue, and here is the evidence. Both shill for Israel blatantly. (Hillary: 'Oh Israeli Lobby--please let me be President, listen to my hawkish war speak on defense of Israel and against Iran, despite the lack of evidence!')

POPSUN Imposes New Sanctions on Iran--Increases Conflict As Ron Paul warns UN sanctions are a pathway to wars, and always the new justifications for them, as was the case with Iraq. The UN is not "moderate", or a world savior, it is an arbitrary usurping world governing body stacked with the "powers that be" moving all toward world conformity by either incentive or force. Since the UN was formed, after the WWI League of Nations failed, wars and global conflicts have increased, not decreased. The UN is nothing less than a global "gang" teaming up to suppress and usurp all sovereign rule under the pretense of "democracy" and "world peace", and its tenants are entirely supported by the Bush family and neocons, while their tactics may differ. To suggest that only "UN approved" nations can have nuclear power, even weapons, makes clear their goal of global dominance, as if their ideological dictatorial rule is not tyrannical in nature.

POPS$4 per Gallon Gas Coming by Spring Oil prices have quadrupled in 6 years it states, that is since the "war on terrorism" started with the Bush regime. The comparison is made to the last middle east conflict in 1980. Do Americans really want to pay this price, for arbitrary and unjust wars?

POPSDefending Israel to the 'End Times' Rosenberg appears to believe that if a peace deal is concluded, it will not contradict Biblical prophesy: "While . . . Matthew 24 and Luke 21 indicate that there will be wars, rumors of wars and revolutions in the Middle East in the last days, Ezekiel 38 also indicates that for a season at least the Jews will be living 'securely' in the land prior to the apocalyptic War of Gog & Magog (the Russian-Iranian alliance to destroy Israel)." Netanyahu said that 'In a war of attrition the enemy strikes and you react, the enemy strikes harder and you retaliate harder. This gradual increase in violence is the antithesis of deterrence. . . . Deterrence always means using disproportionate force. We need to move from a concept of attrition to one of tough deterrence that will eventually lead to the removal of the Hamas regime, because as long as it exists it will continue arming itself and continue its attacks.'

POPS Garry Kasparov's Views On Putin
Gigot: I asked him how western leaders should respond to the crack down on free speech in Russia and whether it would matter if they criticized Vladimir Putin. KASPAROV: It matters a lot. But it is not only about criticizing it is about actions. They played into Putin's hands by accepting him as one of the equals. Bringing Putin into the G-7 exclusive club created a democratic aura for Putin in Russia and made it difficult for us to criticize him. GIGOT: He is sitting with all those guys, the other democratic leaders. KASPAROV: Absolutely. And they call him a democrat. So who we are in Russia telling that Putin is wrong in doing certain things in our country. Also, it helps Putin to boost his authority with Russian ruling elite. Money, all money of Russian bureaucracies kept in the free world. They can make friends with China, Iran, whoever but their financial interests are in the free world. So if the Western readers want to look serious they have to follow the money.

POPSWWIII-Bring it On This is definately not something I am comfortable reading in an Iranian journal, or an American one for that matter! Somehow things have gotten out of hand, negotiations break down, and bombs are deployed as the response to every question. Maybe it's too much testosterone, I don't know, but it needs to stop and we all need to come to our senses, before there is no turning back and the world as we know it is lost forever.

POPSCheney targets Iran Attacking Iran would likely involve at least 1,500 separate bombing raids over many days or weeks, striking not only Iran's several dozen nuclear research and industrial sites but also its military facilities. "You're not talking about a surgical strike," according to Wayne White, a former top intelligence official who has seen classified plans for what an attack on Iran might look like. "You're talking about a war against Iran. The Iranians will do everything in their power to retaliate." That's what worries military brass, who fear that Iran would hit back against U.S. forces in Iraq and Afghanistan and activate terrorist allies in the Middle East, further destabilizing a region already struggling with two major wars. Such scenarios have apparently been war-gamed at the Pentagon, with sobering results.

POPSSM Hersh: Remember, The Coming Wars, Now IRAN
Bush and national-security advisers have consolidated control over the military and intelligence communities’ strategic analyses and covert operations to a degree unmatched since the rise of the post-WW2 national-security state. He has an aggressive, ambitious agenda for using that control-against Iran and against targets in the ongoing war on terrorism The CIA will continue to be downgraded and increasingly serve as one government consultant with close ties to the Pentagon put it, as “facilitators” of policy. The war on terrorism would be expanded and effectively placed under the Pentagon’s control. Bush has signed a series of findings and executive orders authorizing secret commando groups and other Special Forces units to conduct covert operations against suspected terrorist targets in as many as 10 nations. “The neocons say negotiations are a bad deal,” a senior official of the IAEA. “And the only thing the Iranians understand is pressure. And that they also need to be wh

POPSEd Koch sees how democrats in Congress hurt us It is often said that liberalism is a mental disorder. Indicative of this is the bipolar attitude of Pilosi's congress that stabbing our troops in the back, and undermining the Commander in Chief in wartime is good for the country. From my perspective, it seems that most democrats have lost their marbles.

POPSGodzilla Had Green Blood to Make the US Hate Islam Proof the world has gone completely insane. Take a look at this video. BUT WHAT THE LECTURER IS SAYING IS TOTALLY INSANE!

POPSAmerican Conservative Magazine: GOP Must Go There may be little Americans can do to atone for this presidency, which will stain our country’s reputation for a long time. But the process of recovering our good name must begin somewhere, and the logical place is in the voting booth this Nov. 7. If we are fortunate, we can produce a result that is seen—in Washington, in Peoria, and in world capitals from Prague to Kuala Lumpur—as a repudiation of George W. Bush and the war of aggression he launched against Iraq.
