Bin Laden to be Conjured Up for Halloween/Election
blueridge
by blueridge  10-31-2008    3
Poof--October Surprise! The officials sound like they WANT bin Laden to speak and be heard don't they? Hey ABC!.. why not identify just who these "multiple government sources" are...why the secrecy? Could they be neocons within the Office of Special Plans that report to Dick Cheney and bypass the CIA (which closed their bin Laden unit), that wrote the blueprint for a "new middle east", including Iraq, Iran, Syria (for Israel) in Sept. 2000? I have been waiting for this, bin Laden is always conjured up to spook Americans (in perfect Pavlovian condition-response training) to switch the debate back to "terrorism", fear, and "national security", while the statistical real threat of terrorism is MICROSCOPIC. The neocon agenda must be continued. I guarantee ABC will have an exclusive with Brian Ross, quoting the neocon-linked private company SITE, who always provide Osama a national platform, whom a $1 Trillion Pentagon can never find, conveniently. It's a lie!

Serbia convinces UN to reconsider Kosovo
tommy2balmy
by tommy2balmy  9-18-2008
Analyst Dusan Janjic said it remained to be seen when a vote would be put on the crowded UN agenda. He said that in the light of Iraq, Iran and Georgia and the delicate relationship between the United States and Russia, Serbia’s Kosovo resolution was a marginal topic and might well be left until next year. "We shouldn’t therefore draw a wrong conclusion," Janjic said. "We should push ahead with our initiative, but without using too much energy," he added. Serbia decided to ask for the opinion of the ICJ, after the United States and most European Union countries recognised Kosovo's independence despite Belgrade’s opposition. A total of 47 countries worldwide have so far recognised Kosovo.

What counts as 'success' in Iraq?
ratilfar
by ratilfar  8-16-2008
Cont.... This was widely predicted before the war was started, and it is now apparent. All of Iraq's leaders, including the president, a Kurd, are friendly with Iran and regard it as an important ally. In Bush circles, this new prominence for Iran is never linked to the war, as if occurring by itself.

War on Iran: Security or Neocon Plan Continued?
blueridge
by blueridge  7-31-2008    1
Pat Buchanan wrote this after Iraq war started but its relevant now with Iran increasingly in the cross hairs. The war theatres were planned well before 9/11, by the neoconservatives and Israel. "Iraq has WMD and wants to attack us"...and now same script with Iran, and people actually believe it! On Sept. 12, Americans were still in shock when Bill Bennett told CNN that we were in “a struggle between good and evil,” that the Congress must declare war on “militant Islam,” and that “overwhelming force” must be used. Bennett cited Lebanon, Libya, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and China as targets for attack. Not, however, Afghanistan, the sanctuary of Osama’s terrorists. How did Bennett know which nations must be smashed before he had any idea who attacked us? Now if this does not make you suspicious about any official justification for war, nothing will. Pat Buchanan as an adviser in Presidential administrations writes with credibility. Read al

Next Stop, Iran?
sahara
by sahara  7-4-2008
Iran's conventional forces include an army of 540,000 men and 300,000 reserves, including 120,000 Iranian Guards especially trained in unconventional warfare. It has more than 1,600 main battle tanks and 21,000 other armored combat vehicles. It has 3,200 artillery pieces, three submarines, 59 surface warships and 10 amphibious ships. It's been receiving help in arming itself from China, North Korea and Russia. Unlike Iraq, Iran's forces have not been worn down with bombing, wars and sanctions. It also has a new anti-aircraft defense system from Russia that I've heard is pretty snazzy. So, if you think we or Israel can attack Iran and not expect retaliation, I'd have to say with regret that you are a moron. If you think we could easily handle Iran in an all-out war, I'd have to promote you to idiot. Attacking Iran would be folly, but we seem to be living in the Age of Folly. (read more at source)

McCain vs. Obama On National Security

that espouses the destruction of the State of Israel as its fondest wish and pledges undying enmity to the United States to possess the weapons to advance their malevolent ambitions." He also rejects "unconditional dialogues" with Iran. Obama has delivered messages on Iran that were more mixed. But that only makes diplomacy more important. If we must use military force, we are more likely to succeed, and will have far greater support at home and abroad, if we have exhausted our diplomatic efforts." In the same speech, however, Obama promised: "aggressive, principled diplomacy without self-defeating preconditions....Obama missed a vote on a controversial amendment offered by Sen. Jon Kyl and Lieberman that proposed labeling Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization . Obama called the amendment a repeat of the mistakes that led to war in Iraq; however, he had cosponsored an earlier bill declaring the Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization

McCain Presidency: Neocons on Steroids
blueridge
by blueridge  3-27-2008    1
"McCain would make Bush look like Ghandi", is what some are saying, and here is why: Take a look at what insiders say about McCain's foreign policy. Then look at his list of neoconservative advisers, particularly William Kristol (who led the Project for New American Century and their blueprint for a "new middle east") and former CIA director James Woolsey, whom former Colin Powell chief of Staff Wilkerson calls "scary". Note his plan for a "League of Democracies" (this is the global plan for PAX AMERICANA, per Clarence K. Streit in 1942) to "bypass the balky United Nations" for a more unilateral approach to gaining international support for war. McCain, though despised by many conservatives, is a dangerous neocon weapon of mass destruction who indeed will make Bush look like Ghandi.

War in Iraq Conceived in Israel, Election 2008 will mean Nothing...
blueridge
by blueridge  3-24-2008
Bush is not the primary problem when it comes to the Iraq and middle east wars. The problem is the neoconservatives and Israeli Lobby that will CONTINUE to influence or control U.S. government unless they are excluded from power. Election 2008 will change NOTHING about war without changing the real parties of power behind the Executive Branch and within the Pentagon and at the threshold of Congress. Of course this is why Cheney in particular is pushing to spark wars with Iran, Syria, and Lebanon before leaving office, so that a transition opposing war will not be an option, and the agenda hastened.

From the Mouth of Mossad: Pax Americana will continue beyond Iraq
blueridge
by blueridge  3-24-2008
The former head of Mossad verifies the Iraq war is for Israel's benefit (for which Americans must die in proxy wars) and the agenda for a PAX AMERICANA (per the neoconservative agenda) will require U.S. military presence and more wars well beyond Iraq. (Article is somewhat dated, but oh so relevant in exposing the long term plan). And if a democrat takes the White (washed) House, watch for another "catalyzing event, like a new Pearl Harbor" to continue and expand the war theatre in the Middle East and beyond. Both parties are beholden to the Israeli lobby (including Pelosi and Obama and Hillary) and will be provided with cover for promising to end war when in fact they will expand it (just as Wilson and FDR did in WWI and WWII).

Rantings of a Racist
Eaglewings
by Eaglewings  3-21-2008    1
When pushing an agenda facts are not important, the only thing that matters is putting forth arguments to support ones own agenda. That can be said on both sides of any issue. In the case of the Wright Reverend Jeremiah it is easy to see from the bulletin from the church which issue is of utmost importance to him. Be sure to read the Pastor's page portion and you will see President Bush is to blame for all the ills of mankind, not sin. A preacher of righteousness would acknowledge that all men are sinners not just a particular race or color. In fact the wat in Iraq is blamed for homelessness in New Orleans. The last time I checked the major of New Orleans was a, let me see, black man. It would appear from reading just this one bulletin that the Wright Reverend Jeremiah is not so right when it comes to putting forth truth. Unless of course facts do not matter.

One Brave Man vs One Dumb Bush
righthand
by righthand  3-12-2008
"What's the best and most effective way to combat al Qaida?" he said during an interview in Cairo. "I come from the school of walk softly and carry a big stick." The article also quotes him as telling al Jazeera, the Arabic satellite television channel, that war with Iran was undesirable. "This constant drumbeat of conflict . . . is not helpful and not useful," he said. "I expect that there will be no war and that is what we ought to be working toward." Fallon had been a controversial figure in his post, questioning the surge of U.S. troops in Iraq and openly challenging suggestions that the military would be able to tackle a strike on Iran. But no one had suggested that Fallon might resign until the magazine hit newsstands in January. ..McClatchydc

"War on Terrorism" is for US Global Hegemony
blueridge
by blueridge  2-26-2008
Read this classic entirely from the British MP in 2003. It details the neocon blueprint, from the Project for a New American Century, including the suspicious nature of the 9/11 "attacks". The neocon blueprint he refers to in this article was written in Sept. 2000, one year prior to 9/11, the "catalyzing event like a new Pearl Harbor" that precisely fit their own words, perfectly, to justify execution of the plan. It's plain evidence of a conspiracy, well documented. Republishing this here because too many have still not seen this or forgot about it.
