POPSObama Uses CAIR Lawyer To Stall BERG v OBAMA Sandler’s role for CAIR has been to stifle people from telling the truth about Islam. For example, last year he tried to get Jihad Expert Robert Spencer banned from speaking to the Young American Foundation, by using a threatening letter. Sandler followed up by threatening columnist Mike Adams for writing about the Spencer incident. Look, everyone deserves legal representation that is not the Issue. The real issue is why is a candidate for President of the United States, a guy who wants to take over the role of Commander-in-Chief in the war on terror, using the Lawyer for CAIR a group with terrorist connections, to represent him in a law suit? Once again the Junior Senator from Illinois leave us with questions and no answers. Hon. R. POPSSpeculation That Damascus Might Have Had A Role In Mugniyeh Killing Hezbollah's announcement, which blamed Israel for the killing, did not say how Mughniyeh died. But it came just hours after the car bombing in Damascus late Tuesday, in which eyewitnesses said a passerby was killed. The bomb destroyed the car that it was placed under, and damaged at least 10 others. Syrian security officials quickly towed away the wreckage of the destroyed car and sealed off the area. There was no reference to the bombing in the Syrian media on Wednesday. But an Iranian satellite channel, Press TV, said Wednesday that the person killed in the Syrian bombing was believed to be Mughniyeh.

POPS DoJ:: Subsidizing Terror Sponsor INSA
Siraj Wahhaj, a board member for ISNA is a black convert to Islam. Both he and Siddiqi are slated to speak at this year’s convention. Wahhaj started a Wahabbi mosque in Brooklyn, New York, which hosted Sheik Abdul Rachman, otherwise known as the "blind sheik," who helped plot the 1993 WTC attack. Wahhaj is an unindicted co-conspirator for the 1993 World Trade Center attack, and indeed he testified on Rachman's behalf during his trial. Despite Wahhaj’s testimony, Rachman was convicted of terrorism charges and is currently in jail serving his sentence. Wahhaj is also on the board of CAIR. Both ISNA and CAIR signed a statement criticizing Bush for freezing the HLF assets arguing that it’s wrong for the Administration to prevent people from giving money to Palestinian orphans (in other words, funding suicide bombers). Both organizations also criticized the jailing of Sami Al-Arian, who is in jail having pled guilty to terrorist related charges regarding the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

POPSWhat to do about Iran - From an Editorial in Washington Times By: By Tom McInerney and Fred Gedrich Also from Editorial: Iran poses a clear and present danger to the United States. And President Bush appears poised to act if its behavior is not modified. During the dark days leading to World War II, many European and American leaders mistakenly thought they could bargain with or isolate their countries from sinister forces threatening mankind. Their failure to recognize right from wrong and good from evil prevented them from promptly acting collectively against that gathering threat. As a result, 60 million died, including 6 million Jews. History shows appeasement is a failed policy. Let's ensure it doesn't repeat itself.

POPSMessage of Islam is not jihad, fatwahs Jamal Miftah, a Muslim who lives in Tulsa, wrote a column (above) for the newspaper Tulsa World condemning Al Qaeda and calling on fellow Muslims to reject terrorism. In return, he was kicked out of the local mosque by leaders until he apologizes for his article—and threatened with violence by other members of the peaceful Islamic community of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
