POPSIs Ali Abunimah Of Electronic Intifada The Source Of Obama/Khalidi Tape???
who told me he read my article and wanted to report on it for the L.A. Times. I agreed, provided that he credit me and/or mention my name and site in the article, to which he agreed. We spoke on the phone at some length. In April, Wallsten wrote the story. Portions of it were lifted from my article. But I was never credited, contrary to Wallsten's promise. Even the Politico said Wallsten plagiarized me. I'm almost positive that the video Wallsten referenced in the story was obtained from Arab American Action Network founder Abunimah because my article--the one Wallsten ripped off from me--featured photos of Barack Obama and wife Michelle seated with PLO advisor Edward Said at another AAAN annual banquet and led Wallsten to contact Abunimah. I noted in my article--from which Wallsten got most of his info--that the pics were from Ali Abunimah's Electronic Intifada site, in which he wrote about Obama's 180 on Israel from those days of AAAN dinners and PLO confabs.

POPSWas He Lying Then Or Now? I knew Barack Obama for many years as my state senator—when he used to attend events in the Palestinian community in Chicago all the time. I remember personally introducing him onstage in 1999, when we had a major community fundraiser for the community center in Deheisha refugee camp in the occupied West Bank. I have been proud to be a part of a strong, bipartisan consensus that has stood by Israel in the face of all threats... I will always stand up for Israel's right to defend itself in the United Nations and around the world. Lie: In January 2008, a Palestinian activist named Ali Abunimah described Barack Obama’s overnight switch from Pro-Palestinian activist to supporter of Israel.

POPS Senior Saudi Prince Offers Israel "Peace Vision" He said Israel could expect some benefits on the way to signing a treaty and making a full withdrawal, noting that after the 1993 Oslo interim accords with the Palestine Liberation Organisation, regional cooperation had begun and the Jewish state had achieved representation in several Arab states. Israel was wary of the Arab League plan partly because it would entail handing back the Syrian Golan Heights captured in the 1967 Middle East war, as well as re-dividing Jerusalem, of which Israel annexed the captured Arab eastern part in 1967.

POPSGoogle Earth used to target Israel This really isn't surprising except that these people so proudly talk about it. I'm sure Israel has something better than Google Earth. But here's the confusing thing. We're fighting terrorists around the world, but we're helping them get their own "State"! right within Israel. Is this insane?

POPSNorway Report: Israel still Torturing Detainees, Illegally The UN special investigator on torture, Nigel Rodley said Israel told him, "that its law forbade all forms of torture or maltreatment and it was in full conformity with the 1987 Convention Against Torture which it has ratified." Yet, he goes on to relate how his investigations confirmed that practices amounting to torture, such as sleep deprivation, hooding, and violent shaking, were going on at the same time. Reuters, March 23, 1997, "UN Investigator Says Israel Tortures Palestinians." In 1999 Israel's Supreme Court ruled that torture can be employed as a "necessity" in exceptional cases when officers have reason to believe they can prevent a crime. This has created a loophole, exempting interrogators/torturers from punishment as long as they claim they tortured in the national interest. POPSAnother Israel-Palestinian Resolution or Failure
It doesn't look like there is any good faith for a peace settlement, the working towards a "Two (2) State solution here at all. The Palestinians elected a government. Israel says it's no good and won't talk to them. Maybe Israel could shift away from this particular head-butting and show some good faith by removing the agreed upon illegal settlements? Israel even says they are illegal, so, let's see some action and some good faith instead of just refusal to talk. Does Isreal have a Peace Proposal.? Let's see it. All I keep hearing is how all the other proposals from others are no good. Of course, suggesting these ideas is really nonsense, since Israel has no intentions of a "two (2) state solution; is in denial about it's practice of apartheid; has built a wall all international authorities declare illegal (Have you seen pics of this wall!), is threatening nuclear war against Iran, and has no intention, NEVER has had any intention of stopping it's invasion and occupation of Arab la
