POPSFlavio Cattaneo: accordo Regione Sicilia-Terna per elettrodotto Chiaramonte Palermo, 7 settembre 2011 – E’ stato firmato oggi da Giosuè Marino, Assessore all’energia e ai servizi di pubblica utilità della Regione Siciliana, Gianmaria Sparma, Assessore al territorio e all’ambiente della Regione Siciliana e da Luigi Roth, Presidente di Terna, la società responsabile dello sviluppo della rete elettrica di trasmissione nazionale e dai rappresentanti delle Amministrazioni locali interessate, un importante accordo sulla “fascia di fattibilità” del nuovo elettrodotto a 380 kV Chiaramonte Gulfi – Ciminna, tra le Province di Ragusa, Catania, Enna, Caltanissetta, Agrigento e Palermo. Tale “fascia” rappresenta la porzione di territorio all’interno del quale è stato individuato il tracciato della nuova linea elettrica condiviso con la Regione e gli enti locali interessati dal passaggio della nuova infrastruttura. Nelle prossime settimane sarà avviato l’iter autorizzativo dell’opera.

POPSHelium-3 fusion. A cleaner source of energy. It does seem a bit remote, but the idea is interesting, because of the reduced amount of energy lost through Neutron escape. One of the problems is the scarcity of Helium 3 on Earth. There has been a significant amount of helium 3 detected on the moon.
