15/11/2008 06:33 - Pemilu 2009 Sukmawati Ditetapkan Sebagai Tersangka Liputan6.com, Depok: Ketua Umum Partai Nasional Indonesia Marhaenisme, Sukmawati Sukarnoputri, ditetapkan sebagai tersangka dalam kasus dugaan ijazah palsu saat mendaftar sebagai calon anggota legislatif. Demikian disampaikan Kepala Divisi Hubungan Masyarakat Markas Besar Polri, Inspektur Jenderal Abu Bakar Nataprawira, di sela-sela acara ulang tahun Brigade Mobil di Kelapa Dua, Depok, Jawa Barat, Jumat (14/11). Menurut Abu Bakar, penyidik masih mendalami kasus ini. Mengacu Undang-undang Nomor 10 Tahun 2008 tentang Pemilu Legislatif, Sukmawati diancam hukuman minimal kurungan 36 bulan dan maksimal 72 bulan. Atau, denda minimal Rp 36 juta dan maksimal Rp 72 juta. Sukmawati diduga menggunakan ijazah palsu SMA Negeri 3 Setiabudi, Jakarta Selatan, sebagai syarat untuk menjadi caleg dari PNI Marhaenisme. According to our Indonesian sources, “officials” who accompanied Faleomavaega were interested in acquiring any and all documentation or photographs of a young Barry Soetoro for America’s “national archives” and they were offering cash, lots of it. In a show of faith, Barack Obama’s childhood school would be one of the very first beneficiaries of this outpouring receiving thousands of dollars to upgrade the school and for the purchase of computer equipment, thanks in part to the benevolence of this visiting junket. The challenge of course was securing Indonesian goverment records potentially damaging to Barack Obama’s candidacy for the US presidency as well as other records pertaining to a young Barry Soetoro and his family wouldn’t be so easy to acquire and secure, and for this, the visitors would need the assistance and cooperation of the Indonesian government.

Subjected to a rootless upbringing by a self-absorbed, radical leftist mother, and abandoned by a self-absorbed, hard-drinking philandering father, he sought refuge, meaning and personal grounding in drugs and in the hateful words and destructive ideologies of men like Jeremiah Wright, Michael Pfleger and William Ayers. What are the odds that the Times's Nicholas Kristof will release the tape recording of that Obama interview so that language experts can determine whether or not Obama's Arabic accent is indeed "first rate?"

The Associated Press and the rest of the mainstream media probably had this photo of the registration document in their hands or databases but refused to touch it. After CNN published the facts that FOX incorrectly reported that the school was a madrassa, the entire issue of Barack Obama's name of 'Barry Soetero' was side stepped. It was probably decided that this material or photo shouldn't be available to the general public. (The same idea was probably applied to any audio or visual media related to a separate issue concerning an interview between Barack Obama and Nicholas Kristof of the New York Times.) Therefore the image lay untouched and untranslated in the Daylife.com photo repository for 18 months.
