POPSPlant a Cross The promotional video is a must see for those who are concerned with the promotion of a "biblical worldview". You can safely surmise that "faith-based" initiatives aren't mainly about delivering social services more effectively.

POPSApologizing for Slavery Too Little Too Late Is this a joke? Apparently Virgina doesn't seem to think so, but it seems like it to me. What good does apologizing for slavery and the exploitation of native Americans do now? This kind of thing falls into the "too little, too late" category of political maneuvering. First of all there is not going to be one person that would go on record for not supporting the resolution even though I bet there are some people in the state government that are not all that sorry, and secondly what good does our regret do today when the irreversible damage has been done? What needs to happen is a push for more racial and ethnic tolerance across the country rather than states making themselves feel better by issuing regret resolutions. This helps no one but themselves and I would suggest that they do more to affect real change than toot their own horns.
