POPSAs if "MySpace" wasn't enough ....
I have issues with MySpace when people use it to coordinate another Columbine massacre, as was in the news on Thursday or Friday. Fortunately, a "mature adult" didn't take the hints and clues as frivolous chat and promptly reported it to the authorities. Upon investigation, it was found to be a good catch. Weapons were found in the home(s) of those that were planning the attack. And now AOL wants to participate in a similar website - for what reason? $$$$ speaks louder than words. I'm sorry but I've never been an advocate of AOL and will never be an advocate of another website like MySpace. As far as I'm concerned, this is another reason to tag private internet use by the govt. This will give them more fuel to implement their desires. Maybe it's not such a bad thing afterall... re tracking your whereabouts and conversations. *sigh* I just find it a shame that it should have to be done at all and that things are the way they use to be ... anymore. Life goes on

POPSCalacanis on the value of promotion Thus far, we've taken this approach. All our focus and resources have been devoted to creating a great product (i hope) and counting on our users to spread the word. Either way, i agree with Jason on this point.
