POPSStock Market Continues Fall, Fed Bails Out AIG Crisis continues. AIG gets what Lehman Bros did not--a bail out by the Fed. Maybe the fact that Lehman Bros hired Jeb Bush as advisor a year ago and another Bush as asset manager (see previous clipmark on Lehman) did have a role in deciding not to bail out Lehman, which sent the market into a tail spin as investors and pension companies change their portfolios away from these firms at risk. The Fed's "loan" will be in the form of printing more money (devaluing the dollar, increasing inflation) by the Fed (which is not a government institution, but private bank cartel). The Treasury Dept endorsed it, which is a reflection of the Bush administration. The Fed bailout really is the nationalization of AIG (a mark of socialism, communism), since they did it for a "return of 80% public stake in the firm". The Fed "owns" AIG now.

POPSGREED: Why Lehman Bros Went Bankrupt; Jeb Bush was Advisor Great video reports from MSNBC. (Click on the original clip link to go straight to video). NBC news tonight, Mon. Sept 15th had an excellent news piece explaining the magnitude of this financial crisis. But now note this! From a reuters news report one year ago , Aug. 2007: Lehman hires Jeb Bush as private equity advisor 30 Aug 2007 Lehman Brothers has hired Jeb Bush, brother of the President of the United States, as an advisor to its private equity business, a source familiar with the situation said. Lehman hired another relative of U.S. President George W. Bush last year--George Walker, a second cousin, who heads up the bank's asset management business. So guess who advised them poorly and managed their assets badly? Surprise!

POPSBloomberg As Presidential Kingmaker Billionaire Bloomberg isn't running for President but he might have a say in who wins. If the popular NYC mayor proves he has some influence in the key swing state of Florida, he could have an effect on the election's outcome.

POPSBush 'may convert to Catholicism' Yesterday the Vatican was seething at rumours that there was much more to it than protocol: George Bush, lifelong Methodist, was about to convert. The Vatican differs from the White House on immigration and the death penalty but on other issues including stem cell research, gay marriage and abortion there has been, as the Catholic daily L'Avvenire put it, "total harmony." .. Independent He'll have to become a Christian first, won't he?

POPS"War on Terrorism" is for US Global Hegemony Read this classic entirely from the British MP in 2003. It details the neocon blueprint, from the Project for a New American Century, including the suspicious nature of the 9/11 "attacks". The neocon blueprint he refers to in this article was written in Sept. 2000, one year prior to 9/11, the "catalyzing event like a new Pearl Harbor" that precisely fit their own words, perfectly, to justify execution of the plan. It's plain evidence of a conspiracy, well documented. Republishing this here because too many have still not seen this or forgot about it.

POPS9/11: Laser guide lights on South Tower before strike; remote control evidence
Laser spotting on South Tower of WTC before impact of 2nd plane. Lasers of course are used in military technology to fly missiles into targets by remote control. Also, video shows several shots of mystery white plane (no markings) and rare footage of Shanksville with empty hole, no wreckage. "The process of transformation (PAX AMERICANA war for "new middle east") might be a long one, absent some catalyzing event, like a new Pearl Harbor". --Project for a New American Century neoconservative think tank; paper Rebuliding America's Defenses, composed Sept. 2000, one year prior to 9/11. Members included Dick Cheney, Jeb Bush, Paul Wolfowitz, Rabbi Dov Zakheim, William Kristol, Robert Kagan, etc. The neoconservatives have close ties with Israel and especially Benjamin Netanyahu and the Likudnik (terrorist) party. Larry Silverstein, owner of WTC, is close friends with Netanyahu. Senator Richard Hollings also stated Iraq war was "for Israel...and everyone knows

POPSYou Gotta Love the Bush Family Values Should anyone be surprised that Jeb Bush, the President's brother and the former President's son (oh gosh, I should leave him out of this mix) decided to go to work for a firm that is deeply involved in ethics abuse? Frankly, but quite unfortunately, I am not. While it must be difficult to turn away $37,000 per day as a salary, one must wonder what Jeb Bush must do to earn that kind of money. I hope it is to clean up the company Tenet Healthcare but somehow I doubt it. I am constantly reminded by the antics of the Bush family that one should never tie one's shoes in a watermelon patch. It gives the impression that one is about to steal watermelons, even if the intent is to simply tie one's shoes. Appearances is everything in this world. We live and die by appearances. So Jeb, stop bending over to tie your shoes--You are in the middle of the watermelon patch.

POPSDisaster Response The trend goes back long before Katrina too. If you are going to wait for a response from the Feds, and especially if you want to whine about it, live in a Democrat governed state or city.

POPSA Hope For Clemency
This story hits me especially hard. I am a chronic pain patient who went through years of surgery, rehab and tortuous treatments before I was finally able to hook-up with a pain clinic who is able to dispense the medication I require in what for a "normal" person would be an excessive dose. I admit that I live in Canada where the "war on drugs" has not become a totally out of control and paranoid crusade by the government. In the U.S. however, many doctors are fearful or writing prescriptions for narcotic medication because of government interference. There are any number of cases of doctors treating chronic pain patients with the medicine they need, only to lose their licenses due to overzealous federal drug agents. The real crime is when legitimate chronic pain patients, whose lives are miserable enough to begin with, are treated like junkies trying to hustle drugs in order to get their medical needs met. And that the doctors who try to treat them are so often harassed.

POPSDry Drunk President? Seems to me that this makes sense. George W Bush was a party animal until the age of 40. Sure seems sad that so many have to suffer due to the instability of just one man.

POPSJeb Bush: "I have no future" Interesting. After this presidency is over and those close to the situation can speak out, I would love to hear what the rest of the Bush family has thought about the last 6 years.

POPSAnother Republican FL Congressman Resigns Amid Scandal, Felony Charges Republican Rep. Arza and his cousin were recorded using racist slurs against a black school superintendent. Sometime after 8 last Saturday night, state Rep. Ralph Arza, in calm voice that betrayed just a hint of inebriation, left a 20-second message on the cellphone of his colleague. ''Hey, bitch,'' he said. "You're nothing but a bitch. You're a bitch. You're nothing but a bitch. God Bless you, bitch." Sometime later, in a voice just a little less calm, Arza left a second message for Rep. Gus Barreiro. "Hey, bitch. You ain't nothing but a bitch. You ain't nothing but a bitch, brother, my n****er.'' A second caller dialed Barreiro and cursed Barreiro out even more, profanely threatening him with physical harm for filing a complaint. Hear the two phone messages in question ( 1 , 2 ).
