POPSVatican Forgives John Lennon for Jesus Quip I smile at the idea of John Lennon entertaining JC with some tunes written by he and Yoko. And I wonder at their reaction to the earthly news. No bloody idea, these Catholics. Do they think John is in limbo (which apparently was destroyed by the pope not so long ago because of the cruelty to parents by denying the infant access to the after life with adults) awaiting this statement to get out of jail.

POPSIMAGINE :John Lennon Yoko A genial couple of rebels with a cause If only he were alive singing today then the Vatican might be singing a different tune. The Pope has forgiven him for saying at time the Beatles were more popular with young than Jesus " ,youthful exuberance" maybe but the fact remains the young and educated still know we came from orgasms in the water not from rocks. We dont know it all, but Yoko, Johns partner in the clip would probably receive the Vaticans belated blessing in a positive spirit it is intended to be.From" Earth Peoples Park," we will always love you John RIP.

POPSDoesn't the First Amendment address this – twice? More: Peter Scheer, executive director of the California First Amendment Coalition, said the city's actions are "dangerously close" to censorship and a violation of the First Amendment. "A city government has no business trying to dictate or influence the content of an advertising image, particularly one that's political and controversial as this is simply because some people don't like it and complained about it," Scheer said. "The whole point of the First Amendment is to protect speech that is unpopular, to protect the views that are in the political minority, as long as they don't cross the line and use the speech for some seriously unlawful purpose, which clearly did not happen here."
