9/11The Years of Shame - How the truth hurts those who wish it to stay hidden by their lies.
thinkingblue
by thinkingblue  9-16-2011
Paul Krugman is a brave hero for exposing the shame so many of us felt during the past ten years:--- The disgrace is the responsibility of such “fake heroes” as former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik, former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and President George W. Bush, darlings of the Republican Party who “ in on the horror” for personal and political gain and drove the country apart, (Krugman) writes. As Krugman has said elsewhere, the truth is often shrill. —ARK The Huffington Post: Paul Krugman drew conservative outrage on Sunday when he wrote that the anniversary of 9/11 had become a marker of “shame” for the U.S. http://www.thethinkingblue.com/911shame.html

Roger Ailes Allegedly Pressured Judith Regan To Lie To Federal Investigators, Lawsuit Said: NYT
ratilfar
by ratilfar  2-24-2011
According to the Times, Regan alleged that she recorded a telephone call between her and Ailes, where he told her to keep her affair quiet from federal investigators, lest the resultant publicity hurt the presidential bid of Rudy Guiliani, Kerik's close ally. Guiliani is also very close to Ailes--among other things, he officiated at Ailes' wedding. In one part of the affidavit, one of Regan's lawyers, Seth Redniss, talks about "a recorded telephone call between Roger Ailes, the chairman of Fox News (a News Corp. company) and Regan, in which Mr. Ailes discussed with Regan her responses to questions regarding her personal relationship with Bernard Kerik."

FOX Pimps Giuliani, Fired Publisher to Protect Rudy
blueridge
by blueridge  11-14-2007
Giuliani was Kerik's "mentor", who pushed him for the anti-constitutional office of Homeland Tyranny (aka Security). Kerik (married) had affair with publisher Regan. News Corporation (FOX) fires Regan who wrote things potentially damaging to Giuliani (she knows more about Giuliani from her relationship with Kerik). Now about that affair, it was conducted at a very special place, at Ground Zero (Rudy's ground): the relationship had ended and shortly after Mr. Kerik’s homeland security nomination fell apart, newspapers reported that the two had carried on the affair at an apartment near ground zero that had been donated as a haven for rescue and recovery workers. There is a "protection racket" around "Godfather" Giuliani which includes FOX. Just another reason that Giuliani would be America's worst nightmare if he gained the White-washed House on Pennsylvania Ave.

McCain Says Kerik Reflects on Giuliani -- Bad Judgment
blueridge
by blueridge  11-10-2007
Kerik charged with corruption almost became Homeland Security director thru Giuliani's recommendation. Just another one of "Godfather" Giuliani's friends like the pedophile priest earlier. He appears to have a close knit "gang" in New York, secretive and corrupt. Kerik is also his business partner. There is also another thread here, all seem to hold the principles of another infamous Roman Catholic leader, Mussolini, and those principles are called "fascism". Giuliani hollers that he prosecuted the Mafia. Yet NYC has a reputation like Chicago, for Mafia having influence over politicians and hiding under the skirts of the Catholic Church and priests. None of them are poor either. If you also saw the television interview of Rudolph's response he says it just shows the "complexity of human nature"--i.e. Kerik is "not that bad" and will be his friend still. This is integrity of a man seeking public trust? McCain is right about his judgment, and was bold enough to say so.
