POPSOscillating tool blades The era of the giant tool box is over. There’s no need to lug a bunch of heavy equipment around when you can use a multi tool for just about anything. It’s all about the blades. A good multi tool can take the place of a handsaw, circular saw, jigsaw, rip saw, hacksaw, paint scraper, box cutter, carving knife, grinder, and about a dozen other tools.

POPSDIY soap – cleaning up your act Half way recipes (in which you take a pure form of soap and spruce it up) can be easy to do at home. You can use Castille soap to make several varieties of body wash. Here is one recipe: Vanilla Almond Soap 1/3 cup whole almonds 1 4-ounce bar Castille soap 1/4 cup distilled water 1 tablespoon almond oil 1/8 teaspoon vanilla essential oil Grind the almonds in a food processor or coffee grinder. Using a cheese grater or a knife, shred the bar of Castille soap. Boil the water and add the shredded soap, stirring until you get a nice gooey texture. Reduce to a simmer and then add in the almond grinds, oil and vanilla. You can spoon the soap into molds (ice cubes can make little gift soaps) and let it sit for around five hours until it hardens.

POPSMad About Mary It seems Mr. Cheney is caught in a hypocrites worst dilemma. Having to face the fact that a close member of his family repudiates the political ideology he and his boss ran on and uses to court their base. But to espouse anti-Gay views and then refuse to respond to a reasonable question about his lesbian daughter's pregnancy, which is hardly a secret, reveals a new level of hypocrisy unlike any I have ever witnessed. He uses our sons and daughters as cannon fodder for his neo-con agenda and yet refuses to discuss an openly acknowledged situation regarding his own daughter. Is this arrogance to the core or just plain blindness to the public's perception of him? This is just one more thing I can add to my list of why I cannot stomach Dick Cheney.
