POPSCops To Enforce Pot Laws At Convention City Council member Doug Linkhart, who sits on the marijuana enforcement panel, said he believes police have made pot possession a low priority and doesn’t think there will be any problem during the convention. "Check out the "pot plant" “The ordinance says lowest priority, it doesn’t say stop prosecuting. I’m not concerned police will get carried away. I want police to focus on what’s important, and I expect they will,” Linkhart said.

POPSEat Organic - But Not For Better Nutrition Go ahead and buy that organic apple if you want. Just don't think you're getting more nutrients out of it than an apple grown with the aid of pesticides. According to a new study by researchers out of the University of Copenhagen organic foods aren't any more nutritious. That may come as a surprise to shoppers worldwide who have grown the organic food and beverage market into a multi-billion dollar industry. Of course, if it's pesticides you're trying to avoid, organic food is the smart way to go. For help determining which foods tend to carry the highest pesticide loads and are your best bets for buying in the organic version, check out the Environmental Working Group's wallet friendly food list: http://www.foodnews.org/walletguide.php

POPSSBS, SAS get more tasks in Afghanistan While the Civvy Shits who run the MoD on behalf of this effete Government get more brazen with their false assertions of victory, more soldiers are dying. When the nation has the courage to tell these self opinionated ignoramuses that everything they touch turns to SH&T, and when those sheeples who swallow whole the bunkum and disinformation coming from Downing Street like overpaid prostitutes sucking on the sperm of middle eastern despots, when the nations says enough, we Brits will regain our self respect and national morality. Until then Bless the troops being tasked with impossible missions and may they get home safe and well.

POPSIs McCain another George W. Bush? "George Bush's record as a student, military man, businessman and leader of the free world is one of constant failure. And the part that troubles me most is he seems content with himself." "He will leave office with the country $10 trillion in debt, fighting two wars, our international reputation in shambles, our government cloaked in secrecy and suspicion that his entire presidency has been a litany of broken laws and promises, our citizens' faith in our own country ripped to shreds. Yet Bush goes bumbling along, grinning and spewing moronic one-liners, as though nobody understands what a colossal failure he has been." "I fear to the depth of my being that John McCain is just like him."

POPSRoseanne Barr: Angelina Jolie 'Evil,' Brad Pitt 'Vacuous' "Miss Jolie says she likes McCain too and hasn't decided who to endorse....huh? Aren't you supposed to be somewhat enlightened, or do you not know that the African daughter you hold in every picture had parents who suffered and died because of the Republican party's worldwide economic assault on Africa over the last few decades since Reagan?" She claims that Jolie's "Thai and Vietnamese sons" are also "victims of America's right-wing military incursions too." Roseanne writes that "it might be good for your Asian and African children's self-esteem to know you support" Barack Obama, a man of color, "for the leader of the free world." She signs off: "Now go back to making your movies about women who love to handle big guns that shoot hundreds of people to death.

POPSChavez To Discuss Joint Banking Venture During Moscow Visit The socialist leader, an outspoken critic of Washington and opponent of neoliberalism, has focused his foreign policy on bolstering ties with countries outside the U.S. sphere of influence since coming to power nine years ago. Chavez said last week he expected to meet Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and discuss a number of industrial and technological projects as part of a visit aimed at boosting bilateral relations. PetroCaribe is a regional energy security alliance between Caribbean countries and Venezuela established in 2005. The alliance enables its 17 member countries to purchase Venezuelan oil under a flexible credit payment system.

POPSRussians Defy Cease-Fire: Troops In Georgia Digging In
Elsewhere in Georgia, it appeared very clear that Russian troops were staying put, building ramparts around tanks and posting sentries on a hill near Igoeti, a central Georgia town only 30 miles (50 kilometers) west of Tbilisi. Russian troops still effectively control the main artery running through the western half of Georgia because they surround the strategic central city of Gori and additionally the city and air base of Senaki in the west. Both cities are on the main east-west highway that slices through two Georgian mountain ranges. Russia also confirmed Sunday that it had taken over a major power plant in western Georgia. Rice noted that the text of the cease-fire, negotiated by French President Nicolas Sarkozy, the current leader of the European Union, outlined a very limited mandate for the soldiers that Russia calls peacekeepers who were in Georgia when hostilities escalated. She said these soldiers can go on limited patrols within the two separatist areas but in Georgia

POPSPastor Rick Warren's Saddleback Civil Forum
McCain added the two appointments Alito and Roberts are his recent favorites. When asked does evil exist and if so how would handle it? Ignore it, negotiate with it, confront it or defeat it Obama: verbose, wordy ..... he would confront it but also equivocated on what evil is. "We have to have some humility on the issue on the of confronting". Evil has been been committed in the pursuit of good. *sigh* McCain: "DEFEAT IT" huge applause. McCain went on to describe Radical Islam as the greatest threat of the 21at century. He said he would pursue bin Laden “to the gates of Hell,” Gotta love that. Obama's most important advisers: Michelle (the "proud" wife, the grandmother "a typical white person", and then a bumch of politicians - Ted Kennedy, Nunn, Biden et al McCain's most important advisers: Gen. David Petreaus, head of US troops in Iraq; US Rep. and veteran civil rights leader John Lewis, D-Ga.; and former eBay CEO Meg Whitman, a top adviser to his campaign.

POPSMcCain Showed Best How to React to Russian Force
Obama’s initial reaction was to urge both the rapist and the victim to show restraint , while McCain spoke forcefully to denounce the invasion and to call for specific actions, including withdrawal from “sovereign Georgian territory,” an emergency session of the U.N. Security Council, action by other official bodies and the creation of “a truly independent and neutral peacekeeping force.” Ten days later, McCain’s first response appears to have been the right one. Obama reflected uncertainty in part because of inexperience and in part, too, because he was responding as events unfolded. He is far more comfortable, as indeed the administration’s critics are, in letting President Bush act and then declaring that he or they would have been smarter, wiser and righter had they been making the decision. President Bush’s strongest response was to reach agreement with Poland last Thursday to base 10 interceptor missiles to protect Europe from those fired by Iran or Nort
