The difficulties faced by those working on the project have prompted some members of the scientific community to speculate, in all seriousness, that the machine is sabotaging itself — from the future. The theory is that the particle that physicists hope to produce might be "abhorrent to nature," so that once created it would work backwards through time to put a stop to whatever created it. POPSGod Sabotaged The LHC, Say Scientists Neilsen added: “It must be our prediction that all Higgs producing machines shall have bad luck. rather hates Higgs particles, and attempts to avoid them.” What an odd twist of events in the hunt for the illusive Boson! *LOL* I've seen several lectures by Holger Bech Nielsen and the man has a BRILLIANT mind, there's no doubt about that, although you would be excused, if your first impression of him was, that he was mentally challenged. He's a genius bordering insanity kind of fellow. Anyway, when I first read this article, I thought he must be kidding and making a joke, but that he'd actually write a paper on this theory, makes me think he's deadly serious. Stay tuned, people. Reality is so much weirder than fiction. .:)

POPSJust wait until it finally fires up. Byeeeeeeee I believe in technology more then most but i have to laugh when a multi billion dollar project can't even get off the ground. And when your talking about creating black holes mini or not makes me wonder if anymore mistakes will make for a big oop's......lol Oh well at least if we all get swallowed up it will be over in an instant....

The spinning of the black hole increases the fraction of the black hole's mass that is dissipated as gravitons–elementary quanta of gravity, which could be used to provide a clue to the existence and structure of extra dimensions.
