His nearly $1 trillion stimulus; record budget deficits; unprecedented levels of public spending; the government bailouts of the auto, insurance, housing and banking sectors; billions heaped on “green jobs”; Obamacare; Dodd-Frank to reform Wall Street, and huge outlays for food stamps and unemployment benefits - all have failed to restore the economy. In fact, they have done the opposite. Unemployment is 9.1 percent. Growth is anemic. In August, no new net jobs - none - were created. Consumer confidence is low. Inflation is rising. The value of the dollar plummets. Burdensome regulations are strangling business. America is being buried under a mountain of debt. For the first time in history, its credit rating has been downgraded. The country is not only on the verge of national bankruptcy, but of economic collapse.

Khan was on the move. In March 2002, Mr. Khan, the notorious Pakistani nuclear materials dealer, moved his production facilities from Pakistan to Malaysia. In August, an Iranian exile group revealed the existence of a centrifuge factory in Natanz, Iran. A month later, U.S. intelligence concluded that North Korea had almost completed a "production-scale" centrifuge facility. It was also believed in 2002 that al Qaeda was shopping for nuclear materials. In The Wall Street Journal this week, Jay Solomon described how two North Korean operatives through this period developed a network to acquire nuclear technologies.

It wasn't an actual real time Newspaper but in today's world it was a Newsdig but I still wished that I hadn't clicked! First it was a, Health Care {NO} Reform won by the Health Care and insurance Industry. Then the gloom and doom news from Afghanistan. It's enough to make you put on a pair of rose colored glasses or stick your head in the sand. Checkout the videos and images from the early part of the Russ Carnahan meeting and just look at the people in line, and realize they will also be lining up to vote in 2010. Also check out the photos of the angry mob lining up in Denver to confront Nancy Pelosi. These are average American voters. And not only do they get out and protest DC’s direction - they talk. They talk to their friends and families, who talk to their friends and families. They are eyewitnesses whose credibility outshines anything the news media thinks it can brain wash us with. This is the year the DC PR machine runs into reality - and loses big. The only bigger loser (in 2010) will be all those liberal snobs in Congress who picked a fight with the American voters. POPSThe "Madman Theory of the Presidency" Now Lauria is vowing to fight. Thomas Lauria head of the restructuring practice at White & Case, the lead lawyer for the group of holdout lenders that the Obama administration is blaming for pushing Chrysler into Chapter 11. The group, as you know by now, refused to take 33 cents on the dollar for the approximately $1 billion in Chrysler debt they hold. The four biggest bank lenders to Chrysler--all recipients of federal bailout money--took that deal, drawing praise from Obama for their decision. . Specifically, he says the holdout lenders will challenge the planned sale of Chrysler's prime assets to a new company controlled by the auto workers union and Fiat, according to Reuters.
